Florida couple transporting grill injured after SUV explodes when woman lights cigarette

A Florida couple transporting a propane barbecue grill inside their SUV was injured Sunday after a woman lit a cigarette, sparking an explosion.

 

The grill was turned on and the propane tank was open in the back of the red Kia Sorento when the couple left a barbecue at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, Orlando police Lt. Cindy Lane told the Orlando Sentinel

 

After the explosion, the vehicle kept traveling until it crashed into a pole, according to Lane.

But... Propane has a rather distinctive smell from the additives... How could they not smell it was on?!

Why are American's becoming dumber each generation, is it because our school system is infiltrated by socialists? Or is it the fact that people just care about being cool.

 

I mean really, how stupid do you have to be to do this? At least they are from Florida, just saying.

I'm not even 30 yet but I sound like one of the older generations wondering what happened to the newer ones. "When I was a kid...."

Is it that people are becoming dumber or are we getting too easy of a quality of life?

Too many people with too little common sense.

 

Largely due to kids not being raised with early life responsibilities, and a reduced emphasis on logic in elementary schools. Now the "social scientists" want to eliminate algebra in high schools.

 

By  the time they hit legal "adulthood" they're still emotional and analytical children.
