Havana plane crash: Boeing 737 comes down shortly after take off, says Cuban state media

A passenger plane has crashed shortly after take off from Havana, Cuba's main airport, local media reports.

 

The Boeing 737, was operated by the state-run Cubana de Aviacion and was en route to the eastern Cuban city of Holguin, Radio Habana Cuba reported.

 

It came down close to Jose Marti International Airport. There was no indication of casualties.

Planes can be flown for decades, and by several airlnes, and still be perfectly safe given proper maintenance.  The question here is; did it receive proper maintenance?
