I just upgraded my case to a Lian Li PC-V2100B Plus (from a Lian Li PC-65). I haven't done a whole lot other than install 4 cold cathodes (2 red, 2 blue), but I have plans to do quite a bit more. Here are some pics of how it looks now.

where can i get a good light similar to this

do they operate via a switch-power outlet, or computer

can they blink, are they expensive

i have a mouse that has a scroll wheel that glows and changes color.

i don't do any of that case mod lighting stuff, i just came here to look around. i don't need anything commplicaed and expensive, just something simple that might look nice and maybe light up my light-less keyboard in the dark.

No, they just happen to converge in one spot. They're heavily zip-tied to keep them from flailing all over the case. I plan on re-running the cables eventually, but it works for the time being. I'll post a closer pic of that "knot" which shows it in a bit better detail.

Lol anyway guys ive got a whole new theme coming now, finished making the modifications to my case this afternoon and im just waiting for the new watercooling on Monday :)

Then its all UV and big ass DD tubing, and sprayed the case from grey to black, much better :)

you might wanna try to space out your hard drives a little bit... i had two drives bunched up like that and they were doing a massive copy between them and a chip melted on one of them. just a word of advice.
