My first custom built computer, my first pc mod, many more to come.

Not too much to look at, but here's my case.. Far from being done, but it's a start.

This is how I had it set up prior to the water cooling system.. Cooled great, but sounded like a small tornado!

what kind of case is that?

I have no idea what brand it is.. It was a super cheapo case I found at my local computer shop and bought for like $30.. I had spent most of the money I had at the time on the computer components, and didn't have much left for a decent case. It's worked out pretty well though, and I like the handle on top.. Helps a lot!

My rig: Nothing special but need to get afew mote things to complete my set up (LIKE TIDY THOES F$%&*NG cables)

I have recently just added

CoolerMaster Aquagate watercooling kit (overclocking)

Vantec Spectrum UV Fan Card ( to increase airflow and getting cool air to my VGA )

Lian Li 120mm Blower Fan ( to remove hot air from the VGA )

Cold Cathode Light Kit - UV

I will be adding more neons and i will cable sleeve the excess wires so that airflow increases and that it looks better too

I actually built my own cube case. I ended up tearing apart a super cheapo case for the drive racks and mobo tray, but heres some pics

heres a pic from the very begining when it was pretty much just a frame still..

IM001511.jpg

I also decided to go with dual power supplies, mostly because i could. these turn on and power off together thanks to a lil rewiring, well worht it though. also note the sweet fan grills, and imagine those fans lighting up to blue

IM001583.jpg

heres a good side view pic while the case is empty, you can see the blue fans with scorption fan grils and the two PSUs with their car casings.

IM001582.jpg

time for the good stuff, post production pics..

Sorry for all the pics, but i dont generally get a real good chance to show this thing off. I ended up sleeving all the wires with blue uv reactive sleeving. all ide cables are rounded and uv reactive.

theres 1 blue cathode and 2 uv cathodes along with 4x 120mm fans, 5x 80mm fans (and thats not counting PSU cand CPU fans).

To control all this stuff i put in 5 switches in the front that light up clue when lit.

If you wanna check this out some more, i have it posted on my site, http://fusionmods.net - you can rate cases there, so if you join then you can rate the case, or upload your own to have it rated.

<<sorry, selfless promo, lol>>

Just got done watercooling my Gigabyte Aurora, leak testing it at the moment hence power cable not plugged in and somewhat untidy cables. I know a lot of people dislike this case, but personally I think it's great.

Thats a very nice setup there Brodel. I am abit worried about that VGA block putting alot of weight on to the card which looks like it will snap or something. Nice kit tho  lol

Thanks, yea it does look as if it puts a lot of weight on it but to be honest it's fine. I think the photo makes it looks worse than it is, the hose supports a lot of the weight and it isn't actually that heavy anyway, a lot lighter than the old Maze 4 blocks that's for sure.

Yea, that's the 1/2" tubing and Maze4, tdx on the cpu. :)

one warning on the maze 4 though, mounting ram sinks is a complete bitch. lol

LOL. yea i already have zalman ramsinks and by the look of things, you do aswell. That tubing looks quite fat looking at it from that pciture. Those clamps you have, what size are they? ill need about the same as you which is 10 at least to complete the loop. and what kind of coolant and your is in your system?

Must commend you all on great cases, getting Antec P180 for my first proper build soon, and will hopefully get a custom shaped window cut for some neons :D
