This role comes with added responsibilities and moderating abilities, but in their time as moderators they have demonstrated that they are more than capable to handle the position. Secondly - and somewhat embarassingly - while we were updating Goretsky and Zagadka to GM's we noticed that while they had the abilities of Global Moderator, @Caleoand @Andrew Lylestill had the badges of Moderator. This has been fixed, so show them some love as well! Congratulations to all. The function of moderator has changed over time to a point where it is now used as a temporary position to see if a moderator is suited to being given more control over the forum.
