Wanted Alabama 'attack squirrel' owner arrested after chase

Authorities had been seeking Paulk on multiple felony warrants unrelated to the squirrel named "Deeznutz," made infamous after police said they were warned about a meth-fueled, trained attack squirrel.

No not rabid, but possibly given meth, according to the article: Deeznutz couldn't be tested for meth and has been released.

Article didn't say, but sounds like they didn't test and just released because it was feisty or what . Which sounds like a bad idea, especially if it's dependent on people to get fed.
