January 1, 2004.  Crazy to think I've been mingling around here for over half my life.   I don't post a whole lot, but this place has been a daily visit for almost every day of those 16 years. :)

Was lurking for a long time prior. Think we need a classic theme?

Oh em gee, seeing Windows Whistler references in that screenshot almost makes me tear up... How can time pass so quickly? Those were among the last days of wonder, when hardware and software could still surprise and 'wow'. How much fun I had with Windows back then!

November 9th 2001 I think, though I remember visiting the site throughout the Whistler beta period.

The site has changed beyond all recognition from those days and sadly not always for the better.

You can do better than that :) You need to get warned at least once a year to have a good time.. :P

I use to get warned about twice per year.

I did read Neowin news since shortly after the inception of the site before registering the forum account. Back in the day, it was the best source for 'Whistler'/Windows XP beta news.
