Anyone use a Samsung smartwatch and a phone with Android 11?

I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2, and since my phone updated to android 11, I have not been getting any notification on the watch, despite them being enabled. According to the app, it has been 5 days since my text app has sent notifications to the watch. I have reset the watch to factory defaults, and reinstalled the app on the phone, neither of which have done anything. I contacted Samsung support via Twitter and they wanted me to uninstall/reinstall the app on the phone, they also wanted me to try and pair the watch to a Samsung phone, which I do not have.
