kiddingguy
I think my current USB-hub is causing interference and/or stuttering with my mouse. It's a general 3.1 USB-hub. Is a USB-hub type C a better alternative? And more specifically the: Satechi TYPE-C Multi-Port Adapter 4K Ethernet Space Grey v2 Because it's USB-C connected and powered (and therefore has a more thoughput on data, and maybe even power) - and it's connected to/on a different part of my notebook's motherboard. USB-devices plugged into it: (1) 5GB gaming-HDD by WD (Black Edition), (2) RGB-mousepad (power just for the lights), (3) Razer USB charging cable for my mouse and -not always plugged in- (4) running watch for charging and syncing
adrynalyne
For all that you are plugging in, you will want a powered hub. Dick Montage 1 Share
goretsky Supervisor Posted July 30, 2021 Supervisor Share Posted July 30, 2021 Hello, I have not used anything by them, but Satechi certainly has a good reputation. I would just suggest buying it from a reputable source that has a good return policy, in case it turns out the Satechi hub does not improve things. Dick Montage
No, it's non-powered, you absolutely need a powered hub for your demands.
