new theme Work restarted on Pro theme for the forums

All registered members can select the Pro (WiP) theme in the user menu drop down now. It is still in the very early stages and I am not sold on the main colors yet. I am wanting to go with a dark burgundy color, but also tone down all the whites to a very light grey, like we used to have long ago.

 

Pro is intended to be in between the Light and Dark mode themes, and to be easy on the eyes without implementing striking colors.

 

It is already usable, but you'll see quite a few blue elements that I still have to change once I have decided on the two primary burgundy colors, I can go ahead and change them as well.

 

With that said, you don't have to report bugs on colors yet, because I am fully aware that there's a lot left over from the default theme. Feel free to report bugs with the default Light and Dark mode themes though. Since we upgraded the forums to 4.7.1 yesterday we have fixed the quick search on the top right navigation, and reactions now also work on Mobile.

I know it's work in progress but my eyes get destroyed trying this, so back to the perfect light colour scheme for me.

I just selected it and I'm already feeling at least 27% more professional than just a few minutes ago.

Can you be more specific? I was messing around with colors earlier today, but it is where it should be (I think) with the light greys.  The idea is for it not to be white, or overly dark.

For me the burgundy top and bottom parts just burn my eyes and the buttons, it's all so vivid on my devices but im the sort of person that doesn't use dark themes but the default dark theme doesn't burn my eyes.
