Following the release of Intel's latest graphics driver with Resident Evil Requiem support, NVIDIA is shipping a similar update for its Game Ready drivers. Version 595.59 WHQL is here with optimizations and DLSS 4 multi-frame generation support for the latest Resident Evil installment and Marathon.
By the way, NVIDIA is currently running a promo where you can get a free copy of Resident Evil Requiem when purchasing a qualifying graphics card, namely RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090. Laptops with the same graphics cards also participate in the promotion. Alternatively, you can get the game by purchasing a 12-month GeForce NOW membership. The latter costs $199.99, and with the promo, you can save $69.99 (the price of the game), which is quite a lot.
Bug fixes are also included in today's update, and they are the following:
- The Ascent: Intermittent black bar on top of the screen on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
- Total War: THREE KINGDOMS: Green artifacts appear on GeForce RTX 50 series
- FINAL FANTASY XII The Zodiac Age crashes with a fatal error after a driver update
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) displays image corruption after a driver update
- Quantum Break: Performance drops significantly on Act 4 Part 1
- Blackmagic Design: AV1 decode crash with multiple obu in one packet
You can download the NVIDIA 595.59 WHQL driver from the official website or via the NVIDIA app on your PC. Full release notes are available here (PDF), and the announcement post is here. Supported platforms include 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11, and you will need a GTX 16 Series graphics card or newer to get the driver. Unfortunately, Pascall and Maxwell generations are no longer supported.
