To those of you that have login to my server and look for March AutoPatcher and didn't find it, I had to do a System Restore to a previous point, I'm very busy @ work and I totally forgot to check the AutoPatcher folder.

I'm downloading all the March releases as I speak.

February releases are on the server if you would like to download them.

Server info can be found on page1 of this thread or you can visit AutoPatcher and get the server info from there.

Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you.

If this is not acceptable by Flish (the AutoPatcher link) then just let me know and I will remove it from my server.

An update on my mirror

50gb Bandwidth used in 2 days! :o

Yes autopatcher downloads used a lot of bandwidth.

Bandwidth is not a problem, but it seems that you guys killed my server.

Ive now had it sorted, and links are back up. They may go down again as my techs work to stop this from happening again. So apologies if you cannot download.

Neowin autopatcher server has exceeded bandwidth, and i belive 1 other maybe down.

Mine will be back so do not despair. :)

:woot: :D :woot:

Got my new Antec PSU True Power 550W, will be installing this weekend, so server will be down.

Will also be doing maintenance on HDs, so it will take some hours to do so.

I will let you guys know when server is backup and running for your APXP downloads :p

edit: Could anyone provide me with a fast link so I can download APXP March Lite, Full & Update release, so I could host them?

I'm only getting them at 5k, sometimes down to 2k. :)

Found a good link ( http://hermit.k12.ar.us/autopatcher/ ) :D

I will leave the files hosted throughout the night but at around 8am CST I will be restricting access.  Depending on the amount of bandwidth that was used I will re-open it at 3pm CST.

Downloading from you, hopefully I can finish Lite, Update and Full before the time you bring them down.

I've been trying to finish them so I can host them, I only got UltraLite.

Thanks for the link :D

www.ogn.com.au is hosting the full Autopatcher with up to 500 kb's download speeds . current downloads 1620 times from www.ogn.com.au within 16 hours of it officialy being put up .

right now we work with notepad... a database editor might be ready soon :)

Hi,

Does Autopatcher March version include database editor?

Infact, by using with Notepad to modify AutoPatcher Core.db (to customize language to French), the AutoPatcher Core.db file not working any more, it's indicate that it is corrupted. The only modification possibler is to modify hotfix xxxx_ENU to xxxx_FRA.

BTW, what nex in march version?

Regards

coucou

I will be unable to host autopatcher today as well as the weekend. The state has requested that we shutdown all machines so that they may try and get the virus issues taken care of by monday and I figure the excess bandwidth that I'd be using could cause an extra headache for them :) I figure I should be nice, how I do like my job and all.

Yeah mate the site is back up now..

They were having server problems.. are also ment to be changing server real soon as well (unless they did that at the same time.. not sure).

Be careful when mentioning that site & similar sites though as a few ppl have had their wrists slapped on here for similar things. ;)

Damn, I just noticed that my APXP March Full Release was corrupted.

Anyone out there that could provide me with a link so I can download to host it?

PM me if you dont wanna public the link.

Thanks

edit: Thanks to those of you who are seeding APXP :D

errrr, I dunno whats going on, but I cant seem to open the Update Release.

When i double click on the 7zip file, it makes a folder named Update, when I double click on that folder, I see other files and folders. There is a file name Updater, when I double click it ask me for APXP executable, I searched and I cant find it.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
    • you can also do this with this tool: PowerSettingsExplorer made by mbk1969 at 3dguru forum.. I found it by accident researching on modern standby and annoying quirks of it in 2022
