IF the Canucks find a way to win tonight, the Avs will face the Wings in the 2nd round. IF the Flames win tonight, then the Avs will face the Sharks. So, regardless who wins tonight, the Avs will have a tough 2nd round and the us fans will have a treat during the 2nd round. :D

NHL.com seems to think it's Montreal-Tampa next. I think they're right, too.

the reason why habs will face lightning is because habs is the 7th seed. the 1st seed will always face the lowest seed in the first and second rounds of the playoffs. the leafs/senators series is the battle between the 4th and 5th seeds in the playoff.
