I also object to being associated with anything *Mac*, I have nothing against Mac's or Apple, but I don't want to be an associate.

I prefer this to Google's system, which abuses your privacy (they keep emails you delete, cross reference emails to searching habits, etc). Also, you can use any email program with POP3 and "IMAP mail capabilities are under development and will be available very soon". I don't know how soon, buy the world "very" is a good sign.

I use Windows but have nothing against Mac... this service is great. GoogleMail can't compete. I was surprised that this was genuine... I signed up and it was working within seconds. Also, emails sends very quickly - far quicker than other free alternatives like Hotpop.com.

How in the hell is this free? Thats ALOT of space.

BTW, I won't be using Google mail. All that stuff about them going through the content of the emails anddelivering ads based onthe content seems a little intrusive to me. I have nothing to hide, but maybe I just don't want to show everything.

azan: please resize your image next time. Just for the sake of readability.

Just a note. They are trying to deliver advertisements related to the content of the current page. Google even does it on Neowin. Their script takes text from the site, then based on a common set of words, they deliever advertisments related to the topic. So Neowin is going to get alot of computer related advertisments, since its pages have alot of computer keywords. One of my webpages says britney on it two or three times, and I have advertisments for britney spears tickets.

Its just a script.

I guess they could say 'this dude gets alot of computer advertisments delievered to him, he's a computer guy, we should make sure he gets more computer ads'. Shrug.

Well, everything was as I thought from the beginning. All you have to have is patience. everythings works great for me now, after waiting 30-60 minutes... so hang in there noobs ;)

Does the Free FTP from Spymac.com work too?
