Why do you apply themes to your Windows XP machine? The default theme works also.

To answer both questions: We apply this program to change the way our clock looks because 1) we can and 2) we like the look better then the old look. I have put stickers all over my computer case and it doesn't make it perform any better but it helps personalize it.

And for the themes it's the same way. The Longhorn Systray clock is just a theme for your clock really. Like changing the theme on your desktop or changing your wallpeper. It's not useless. It's art.

The clock is C(win32). The control panel component is C++(WTL).

LClock doesn't terminate the clock. It just hooks into explorer.exe and handles all the messages sent to the default clock.

Skin is planned. Maybe LClock will just use rainlendar skins. ;)

But right now I just want to get some feedback on the calendar feature. And maybe try out appointment, alarm features...see what everybody thinks first. :D

Impressive, memory usage is lower than before on my config with more features implemented.

Until now this is very good and rock solid work.
