Neowin's Official NBA 2004 Playoffs Thread

Don't worry, the Spurs have 2 out of the next 3 at home. That's home court advantage and that's all you need in the NBA. Honestly, I think the Spurs will win the next 2 games, regardless. The Lakers have played their best ball, the Spurs obviously haven't.

Expect Mr. Duncan to get about 25 points and 15 rebounds tomorrow and Kobe will have a tough shooting night. Spurs win and go up 3-2.

Go Timberwolves!!! :D

Detroit battled New Jersey into triple overtime, but couldn't keep up in the final stanza of a 127-120 loss in Game 5 on Friday. Chauncey Billups, who forced the first OT with a 3-pointer from nearly half-court, finished with a game-high 31 points for he Pistons. Game 6 is set for 8 p.m. Sunday in New Jersey (TNT).

Pistons look like they are going to win.. my prediction = Pistons/Wolves final...

this was the most amazing game yet, i have never seen a starter player (jason Kidd) and at that a star player who played 43 minutes leave the game with 0 points, NONE, NADA, ZILCH!!!

now, it's time to to put jermain o'neal in his place (the floor) and artest given the hand (swat).

i predict the pistons will win the series in 6 games.

Too much faith in the pistons Vice! :p

The Pacers have won 4 out of the past 7 games they have played against the pistons (over the last 2 years). Thats more than half... It is only right to let the Pacers have lucky number 5.

And the way Jermaine's eye is messed up, if he misses that game and still wins, that is awesome. But if we lose, it's because of him. j/k. I think Artest is gonna put up a damn good fight for your pistons though...

May the best team win! ;)

oh man  i saw his eye on an interview.. but didn't see how it happened, did he get hit?

i havn't studied/watched enough pacers game to come up with any intelligent arguements, like how much their defense sucks for example :p ;)

my team will win, only becuase i wear the same Pistons shirt everyday! i only take it off to wash it.

:omg: DID ANYONE SEE PRINCE BLOCK REGGIE MILLERS SHOT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

HE TOOK DOWN A CROWD OF PEOPLE WITH HIM!!! OH MAN THAT SO ****ING TIGHT, THEY SAID THIS IS GOING TO BE IN THE FRONT PAGE, 2ND PAGE, MIDDLE AND BACK PAGES OF THE PAPER HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

ok.. series is now tied 1-1..

Western Conference

Lakers VS Timberwolves - TIED 1-1

Eastern Conference

Pistons VS Pacers - TIED 1-1

i was ****ed because refs were giving indy the game

alot of bad calls, but the pistons survived. Prince & Rip saved the day

i went crazy when they called the blocking foul on Prince, that was so stupid.. and then i was left speechless when they called double dribble on Chauncy.

3 more games.. all i want to see is Detroit beat the Lakers like they did 14-15 years ago.

Wolves need to tie it up tonight or they are done IMHO...

Damn glad the Pistons are up 2-1, but I do predict this series might indeed go to all 7...

Pistons / Lakers would be a damn good Finals simply based on the Nostalgia, but I really want LA to go DOWN...

well the lakers should wrap up the series tonight... damn shame, but you have to say they should win considering the players they do have on their team... and man the pacers handed it to the pistons last night, i hate to say it but thats not a good sign for detroit... i do want them to win since i still hate reggie miller for his 8 points in 12 seconds against my team the knicks...

i also hate to say it. but whoever the lakers do play in the final, they will finally turn it on as a unit and sweep. :argh:

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
