According to this Taipei Times article, VIA is offering to donate 100 Million $ U.S. This is a very generous offer and much larger then some of the other also generous offers from big named companies. For example Cisco Systems - $4 million, GE - $10 million. Its really amazing to see. "The donation can be in cash or in relief materials.
