VGVL Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 I have over 15 hours of video I've recorded on my Sony IP55, but I've been having problems transferring the video to my new PowerBook to edit it in Final Cut Express 2. It has something to do with the fact that the camera sends the video over FireWire in MPEG-2 and Final Cut Express expects MPEG-1. I am thinking about buying a Formac Studio TVR to transfer the video, but I would think that going from Digital to Analog and then back to Digital may lower the quality. Would this be a good option?
