Cool.

When you unzipped the jitc version, you got a few files in there. Make sure that you put the 3 GB .img file in that folder as well.

You need a disk image to run. Panther, Darwin, or Mandrake. Panther is 2 disks.

There's a file called ppccfg.example. Towards the bottom are config settings for the disk images; master and slave. I don't have the config file in front of me (Im' on my Powerbook at the moment :D) but if you look back in this thread, you'll see examples of what to set those settings to.

Essentially, the master setting is turned on by changing the 0 to 1, and you set that as the filename of your hard drive image. You turn slave on by changing it from 0 to 1 and set the filename of the CD image you want to 'boot' from.

Indeed.  Congrats Volrath, you found the fix for running OS 10.2

hey no problem, just trying to help out! :D

edit:

I would like to also note that allocating 512 mb of ram ( i have a gb in my machine) to PearPC has made a huge difference. it's not super fast, but it's reasonably faster than one with 128mb of ram. :D

My installation's been running for about 5-1/2 hours now, and it's been stuck on 2h39m for about 45 minutes. Hasn't crashed, still running.

I'm really hoping they get something a little better for 0.2. Maybe networking and a small percentage faster.
