Running Mac OS X on x86 PC!

Question

this program is emulating ppc, not osx. if a user wants to install osx with pear, that is their own problem. and they may be in violation of the agreement, but there's nothing wrong with the software. it's perfectly legal to install PPC linux....or others of that sort.

could someone post his working config file which you use with the fullscreen version?!? I downloaded it, edited it, but all i get is the msdos window which closes itself before launching pearpc...don't know what I do wrong..when I use the old config file it works...

Open a cmd prompt then run it from there.

ei. you must DESTROY the Mac OS X CD's. (Too bad if you borrowed them.)

If you had read this thread further back you would of seen the discussion about this.

It has been flogged to death now so please don't start it again.

Why can't I update to 10.3.3 ?

This is the error I get when selecting installation drive :(

Translated: You can't install the application on the disc. The drive doesn't fullfill the demands for this update.

If you already have panther installed, make sure you download the COMBO update 10.3.3! I first downloaded just the 10.3.3 update and got the same message (only in English), because the 10.3.3 update requires 10.3.2 to be installed (I only had 10.3) so once I downloaded and started the 10.3.3 combo, I was good to go.

HTH,

Jon

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
