Guys a quick question everytime you want to use OSX do you have to reinstall it?

Good grief! I would hope not! It takes hours to install Jaguar/Panther (2+ if you don't install all the extras)!

But simply put: No! I haven't had to reinstall, and I have messed around with almost every crazy build and patched build.

You need to follow the instruction at www.kelley.ca/pearpc to modify the config file manually and pay attention to the naming of the adapter in the config file.

You also can't use any of the GUI config file formatters because they change the information needed for the network to work.

Has anyone been able to get the TAP working with XP SP2 RC? I'm using the new beta2 TAP, and I get this error message when starting PearPC:

[TAP-WIN32]: Enumerating TAP devices...

[TAP-WIN32]: Could not locate any installed TAP-WIN32 devices.

[iO/rtl8139] <Error> Open enetif failed: Operation not permitted

My TAP Device is called "Local Area Connection 5", does it need to be something else?

I seem to recall that when you are done installing, it tells you that you will need to restart before it will work. So here is the question.. have you restarted the computer yet?

If you guys want to improve your speed, download ShadowKiller. It makes everything run a tad faster cause theres no shadows.

Now for my problems:

Can someone tell me how to get this networking with a router?

I got it to detect the network card, but I can not get it to connect to the internet what i have:
