Ethereal Visual Style by Mel

May 2004

Designed to be flat, lite and minimal while preserving an attractive interface.

Sheer smoothness, without the bulk of flashy eyecandy.

There will never be any other colours for this theme, it stays as is.

4 schemes:

Rounded corner captions/compact start panel

Rounded corner captions/full start panel

Square corner captions/compact start panel

Square corner captions/full start panel

Shellstyle included

You MUST install the supplied font, Monofonto and TN_Blank, into your c:\windows\fonts folder for this theme to display correctly.

For icons to properly fit the compact start panels, do this:

control panel>display>appearance>effects>tick "use large icons"> apply and ok and reapply the theme.

smeg, I don't know what software you are referring too, Ethereal is just the name I picked for this visual style.

There will be no other colours sorry, I want this one to stay as is.

Keldyn, you're using Heartfelt? Which colour? Because I just updated the blue version if you would like to grab it :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Ethereal is also the name of an packet sniffing software...... fortunately your theme isn't related as the software has the most ugly interface...

Very nice stuff again Mel...

I like the design of it, but the ever so slight pinkish color does not look good on my monitor.

Luckly a recolor is easy enough to make it all white. ;)

Great work Mel. (Y)
