I really like the interface, just what I'm looking for. Things are just too cluttered for me generally, and I'm a power user... Just have one really newbish question - how do I install it? Never used a seperate theme other than the normal XP. Thanks in advanced.

Whenever I double click the ethereal.msstyle file it just launches my desktop properties... but doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

You have to patch your system to use msstyle files.

You can see instructions and file to use here:

After you patch and reboot, and download any visual style you would like to use, extract it to

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes and click the msstyle file in the appropriate folder

for example, for Ethereal you go to:

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Ethereal and click Ethereal.msstyle

or alternatively, you should find it in the drop down box on the Appearance Tab of display properties in Control Panel, when you

correctly extract the file to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes

Hmm.. ran the patch, double clicked the msstyle file still nothing happening. Not enough sleep. :wacko:

Should there be a .theme file? I don't see one..
