me101 Veteran Posted March 7, 2002 Veteran Share Posted March 7, 2002 While having my usual poke around the net, I came across this... posted to a chinese CG site on 14th Feb 2002. http://www.apple.com/hardware/ads/newimac.html Say hello to the new iMac.The new iMac comes to life in these two short films created by our friends at Pixar Animation Studios. SuperDrive 0:15, and Dance 0:30, both available in small, medium and large resolutions. Have a look, they are quite interesting... now i can call the new iMac "LuxoMac!" me101 Veteran Posted March 7, 2002 Author Veteran Share Posted March 7, 2002 Yea, that's my usual phrase "Been there, done that, got the darn tshirt"... lol I have seen the shorts on the Pixar web site, have you seen the "For the Birds" short (was presented as a trailer/short in the movies for their movie last year "Monsters Inc"), it's excellent...! If you dig around on the net, there is actually a nearly full version (missing just a tad of the end!) of "For the Birds", which is excellent. I just spotted these on the apple site, from a link on a chinese CG animation site, so they were certainly new to me. Nice ad's, "LuxoMac" is the perfect name for the new iMac.
