Just got a message from GlobalSCAPE saying they have released their next beta of CuteFTP Secure FTP Server.

Dear Beta Tester,

Thank you for testing GlobalSCAPE Secure FTP Server Beta 1.

We have just released Beta 2. Please download a copy now

at http://www.globalscape.com/cgi-bin/trial/t...rial.asp?pid=67.

We have extended you trial an additional 30 days. Simply uninstall

(be sure to stop the service) your copy of Beta 1 and install Beta 2.

Your existing trial serial number will be respected.

***What's New in Beta 2?***

- ODBC connectivity repaired.

- Added passive port range. SSL connections work properly

when both machines are behind a firewall.

- Numerous errors corrected. See release notes during

installation for full details.

***Important Installation Notice***

If you have a complex site you wish to save you should:

1. Stop the service

2. Uninstall Beta 1

3. Go to the GSFTP server folder, the default is C:Program

FilesGlobalSCAPEGlobalSCAPE Secure FTP Server.

4. Remove the .uninstall extension from the remaining

files.

5. Reinstall GlobalSCAPE Secure FTP Server Beta 2
