This is highly ironic. The producer for "Day After Tomorrow" is an activist and has said that the movie is a "wake up call" for people, because it could really happen. Now, if this is all true, why would they be prosecuted? If more people see the movie, the "message" of global warming spreads, and wouldn't that be a good thing?

Proving once again that activists in hollywood are hypocrites. They care not about any cause, just money.

Nah, that movie that came out the same time Armageddon came out was horrible. I think it was "Meteor" or something.

Day After Tomorrow was ok, I didn't expect much going into it anyway. The part where his dad walked from Philly to NYC was lame; could have done better with that. Oh well.

I used to work in a movie theatre in high school, this is a relatively small area too (350 000) and we would get at least one person with a camera at the opening of every major movie (most of the time it was the same guy, he'd just get a new camera after we'd confiscate one from him) but even for a smaller theatre like ours (7 screens) we needed to make $2000 everynight (including weeknights) just tp break even, and even with expensive tickets and food, that's hard to do 7 days a week, piracy really hurts honest people, I think this is just low

I believe today a movie on a theatre is just too expensive. Although this doesn't justifies recording movies on theatres. As andruweir said, it's just low.

well i think all you u youngens dont know your ass from a hole in the ground the movie industry is doing it to them selves raising the prices of movies and the actors get very little of it i say drop the price down to around 4.50 a show and the piracy will go away the name of the game in the usa is corporate greed they want it all they want only very rich and very poor i use to think we would have a black and white civil war but in the last 20 years and changing my thinking it not going to be black and white its going to be a war between rich and poor and the way i see it the poor is going to win there is more of them :angry:
