When using PanelsUI, the titlebar always says "PanelsUI" no matter what I enter. Also the tray icon mouseover says "Foobar2000"

This is the titleformat: [%artist% - ]['['%album%[ CD%discnumber%][ #%tracknumber%]']' ]%title%

But it doesn't respond to anything I enter... Help please.

Really nice when used alongside with your Lakrits VS but as that ticked me of a bit just due to it making certain parts of my UI to dark (which I'll work on fixing later) I wont use this setup quite yet. Looks pretty strange when combined with other VS?s due to the UI elements incorporated.

Anyone have a copy of trackinfo_mod and SCPL before it all went to panels_ui?

Feeling really intimidated by the change. Don't wanna sit around and spend multiple hours getting what I had... just want to fix a resize bug that SCPL has for album art and some small bugs in trackinfo that were fixed. Can anyone help?

Thx

I'm having problems with this config.. I can't see the album-artist headers even though I have them enabled and when I'm rating songs, I rate them and it sets them back to 0 stars :\

Edit: Also i found new problems.. Play count / last time played doesnt work.

Can anyone help?

The latest M4 version by em3 isn't updated to the latest version of foo_panels 0.13.7.

em3, could you update please?

Ok. Converted over to the new Panels UI. It was not as cwazy as I initially thought :)

NOT taking credit for any of the sparkly parts of the layout. These are bits and pieces scavenged from br3tt, tool++, and various other foobar config GENIUSES. Where I have put in the hard work is the code that drives SCPL sorting and grouping. It allows me to have a single sort command that will handle songs and playlists based on how they are named and tagged. Covers are also obtained in a similar scripty fashion...

Pics are a bit big, so uh... be careful. A playlist where albums are in mass quantity

Playlist with a bunch of singles. First column of color changes with first letter of song title. Second column colored grey means it's on my ipod (they're all grey because it happens to be an ipod pl). The album art panel is also a little smaller by clicking the button by the seekbar. I put it in since my work laptop only has 1024 x 768 :|

Playlist with both albums and singles in it. Colored lines here mean different albums for different singles. Singles are grouped by artist... and darn it Vanessa-Mae is smokin.

I have a little problem....

What do I have to add, if I want that an item in the trackinfo to be always shown at the bottom of the panel, even if i resize it's height...

At the moment it looks like this, and the progress bar has a fix position in the panel:

$padding(0,275)
$align(center, bottom)
$drawrect($muldiv(%_width%,8,100),4,$muldiv(%_width%,81,100),9,brushcolor-null pencolor-180-184-194)
$drawrect($add($muldiv(%_width%,8,100),2),6,$ifgreater($muldiv($sub($muldiv(%_width%,81,100),4),%playback_time_seconds%,%length_seconds%),0,$muldiv($sub($muldiv(%_width%,78,100),4),%playback_time_seconds%,%length_seconds%),1),5,brushcolor-240-240-240 pencolor-null)

So what has to be changed? I don't know...

Hey all! I'm new in foobar 2k customizing and I got few questions to ask.

First of all, is it possible disable that PANELSUI text from the left up corner and how I can customize Genres?

+ As u can see from the picture, album "Party Fun" is from various artists and this config (or foobar or whatever) takes artist from first song as u can see "David Guetta" is it possible some how fix that problem as well, I've been trying do everything but I just don't know... Maybe this isn't the right place ask this maybe I should go ask from the user who made this config but but...

    • Still 3x what it should cost. So, it seems the trick is to increase price by 6x so that a reduction in price back to 4x looks like a steal. "You savvy shoppers win again!" I'm glad I'm not in a desperate spot to actually even need this overpriced crap. Hopefully, it comes back down by the time for when (or if) I ever do.

    • Microsoft wants to end printer driver headaches with Windows Ready Print by Usama Jawad A few days ago, Microsoft released Windows 11 Experimental build 26300.8553, bringing a ton of enhancements such as Start menu customization, search improvements, Taskbar polish, and other minor UI tweaks. Another relatively major enhancement snuck deep within the change log was related to upgrades to the Windows printing experience. Now, Microsoft has shared more details about these benefits. For starters, Microsoft has renamed its Modern Print Platform to Windows Ready Print. The company believes that this name highlights its shift in strategy, which now focuses on modernizing, securing, and streamlining the printing experience for Windows devices. Some of the upgrades present in Windows Ready Print have already been seeded to customers and partners. This includes ending support for third-party printer drivers via Windows Update and transitioning towards the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) and the native Windows IPP printer driver. In line with these changes, new printer installations will default to Windows Ready Print on eligible devices starting from July 2026. However, Microsoft recognizes that not all environments will be able to migrate to this platform immediately, so it will allow users to choose between installing the printer via Windows Ready Print or the traditional OEM process. Users will be able to toggle this configuration through Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Printer preferences. This control applies only to new printer installations, and its functionality can also be modified via Group Policy as follows: Launch Group Policy Editor Navigate to Local Computer Policy -> Administrative Templates -> Printers Find and select 'Configure Windows Ready Print driver ranking' -> double click to open it Select 'Enabled' (if you wish to enable Windows Ready Print driver selection) or 'Disabled' (if you wish to explicitly disable Windows Ready Print driver selection). Select Apply Select OK Similarly, if you set up Windows protected print mode through the same setting in Windows 11, it will also default to using Windows Ready Print exclusively. Microsoft hopes that these improvements will help eradicate dependency on OEM-specific driver installation processes and simplify printer installations. We'll likely find out more about other tangible benefits in the coming months.
