Wooh, this discussion is hilarious. No really. All of you basing at the ref, the portugees and so on. I understand you're ****ed you've lost, but come on, it was a good game to watch, exciting, and completely fair from a neutral point of view.

Read this in a couple of days again, when you anger's gone, you'll laugh your ass off, guaranteed.

To the dutch people come online gleefully- i hope you'll be content knowing that any win in this tournament will be because you had a nice clean run, and luck in terms of other teams screwing up. Hardly anything to be proud about.

Porto wins Manchester United... blablabla Ref, Portugal Cheater blablabla

Porto wins Champions League... blabla Ref, Portugal Cheater blablabla

Portugal wins England... blabla Ref, Portugal Cheater blablabla Pitch blablabla spot blablabla

whatever... Portugal deserved to win this one.

Porto manager comes to English team because they're better....

It's sad to acknowledge your bad loosing. Posts like "Portugal burn" and similiar just show your real "you". In lack of valid arguments, you start insulting my country. It's typical. I'm not going that way. It's childish. You should hear what your coach, Mr. Ericksson and other english reporters said after the game. I really hope that you read tomorrow's european sports newspapers and sites to learn how to respect and to know something more about football and its rules.

Yeah rules... that's the problem - THEY WEREN'T FOLLOWED!

too funny how all the Britons complain about the referee and the penalty spot. Becks just could have stamped it down, too.

I thought it was a really nice game though.

You're wrong - the game was a mockery to international fooball.

The spot is a POS, it was the same for everyone - anyone who blames the pen spot for us losing deserves to be shot.

The ref wants taking to an abandoned ally and shot in the face, he better be under armed guard tonite, because England want his ****ing blood.

TOTALLY ROBBED...!!!!! REF MUST HAVE TOOK A BIG PAYMENT TO DISALLOW THAT PENALTY..!!! PORTUGAL YOU SHAMEFUL COUNTRY, HOPE ENGLAND FANS TRASH UR COUNTRY UP NICE AND GOOD

typical british hooligan, you can't blame the players or the entire country for the referees decision, and if it was the other way around, im sure it would have been "HE CLEARY PUSHED HIM!!!!! HE HAD HIS ARM HOLDING THE GOALKEEPER DOWN!!!!!!"

you lost, deal with it.

Everyone including the Portugese knows that the goal that was disallowed was perfectly OK, from where he was standing he had no right to disallow that goal. We should have won during the 90 minutes, even after conceding fouls even when we touched the ball first, he was handing out yellow cards left right and centre to England , but when they did anything wrong it went unnoticed or 1 of only around 15 free kicks was given to England. Then he should have taken them to the other penalty spot and started again, there is no way that Beckham would scuff it as much as that, the ball moved just before he touched it because of the penalty spot.

The referee was from Switzerland and just because we beat them 3-0 he was being a byist referee to Portugal! Even the commentators said it live on air and so did the people in the studio.

Does anyone else feel the same way? i feel as though England has been robbed of its semi final!

england fans.

you have to learn, how to loose. agree it's hard, but you have to get over it

p.s. in other words. do you really think, that england lost because the spot was doggy and terry was holding ricardo?

Get over it??? Come here and say that.

Christ i cannot believe that the pitch can be of any excuse to any of you, one would think that the portuguese team was wearing special boots or something not to get affected by it :p.

As for rooney getting hurt, grow up it's a football match **** happens, if you even look at the play you'll see it was clean, both players whent for the ball rooney fell in a bad way and lost the shoe and broke his foot.

An let me tell you a bit about football if all the beer you've been drinking hasen't made your heads turvy by now the inner area is the goalie's haven he was fouled so the goal wasn't valid.

As for the comments about Cristiano Ronaldo falling all over well add that up with the ref serving some yellow cards and the fact that if your not blind he was dancing around the english and the only thing that they could do to stop him was a dead on WWF style plackage sad but true. The match could ahve gone either way both teams played weel IMHO and as someone allready sayd a penalty shootout is not fair for any of the teams. In the end luck turned out to be the decinding factor so don't go looking for any excuses like noone else saw the match.

And please chill out ppl in the end it's JUST A GAME. ;)

if you don't like the way we react don't come in the thread, simple as. If you think Terry was holding Ricardo you need your eyes testing

    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
