Just as everyone predicted, Steve has just introduced new aluminum displays.

20" - $1299

23" - $1999

30" - $3299

30" has two DVI Connections running parallel because one is not enough to power such a huge screen. 30" also requires a new graphics card which costs $599.

Yes, but that card is specifically to drive the 30" display.

From what i hear, the graphics card will only be required to power the 30".

1) if you don't own powermac g5

2) if you don't own a 30" .... (display, that is)

(but jee, that's about USD $3900 PLUS taxes JUST for the display (and you need the card) - more pricy than a PMac G5!!!)
