let me turn on my 360, sit back on the sofa in the main room infont of my 50" tv, join friends party and start a game of cod within 15 seconds

yup... console for me

Let me hook up my computer to a projector. Project an image bigger then your TV AND in 1080P Native and sit back and join a BF2/COD/BC2 game in 15 seconds.

Works both way. Dont know what you mean by the time issue, but with PC you get MORE OF A CHOICE with what you wanna play. You dont just click "join now" like some drone and let it find you a game.

Atleast with PC you can also kick/ban people. Your point is moot.

If it wasnt for PC gaming, i would of been one bored child. Consoles were always fun and I loved my super nintendo and PS2, but as soon as I started to play PC Games, that went out the window. PC ='s More flexibility in controls then Controller.

PC 80+ buttons to use/abuse as you wish, controller about 20 for either console.

Nowadays I'm only playing on consoles.. can't say I miss sitting crouched in front of a monitor when I can lay back in the sofa as a king :p once Old Republic arrives, I'll make sure I buy a laptop that can handle it cos I'm never ever going back to stationary PCs again.

I use my PS2 and N64 for a lot of games that just are not on PC/Mac. But for like online shooters (I played Halo 3 on my Xbox tell it broke) I mostly play on my Macintosh. I just like mouse + keyboard for a lot of games like Doom 3 and Quake. So consoles have a lot of games I will only play on consoles and on my Mac I have some that just are not on console or are easier to play on a computer.

And away we go...

PC for me. Now, there are many reasons for this but I'll start off with HOW I PC game.

I have a Lazyboy chair. A nice, huge comfy chair with my mouse table hovering over the right arm of the chair.

So to people cheering about being able to sit on the couch and console game... HA!

Anyhow, with my PC I can play almost any console game through an Emulator. I can also use a 360 controller

on my PC for certain games- and from experience, it works like a champ. My preferred method of play is the

keyboard and mouse for accuracy and comfort. I HATE the controller... I've only used it when it makes sense

to do so in certain games (as stated above), but I've yet to have anyone out-score me in kills with their controller

when I'm using my keyboard and mouse technique.

Next, we have the games themselves. Games released on PC are updated periodically... not just from the

official developers, but from the fan base as well. We call these Mods. Mods can completely change a game,

which means more game for the same monetary investment. How the hell can the console compete with that?

Voice chat can be accomlished with people outside my gaming circle. That's right, if you have a 360 then

you're stuck chatting with 360 folks. Not me. I can be playing any of my PC games and chat with other PC

users (how many people do YOU know without a PC?) and talk to people who aren't playing anything, or

playing something completely different. ALSO, I can chat with multiple groups at once. STEAM has it's own

chat engine, which I can assign as push-to-talk with the "TAB" key, for example. At the same time, I can

have Ventrillo running with a push-to-talk key of the tidle key. I can push TAB and talk to my STEAM friends,

or the tilde key to talk to my Ventrillo group. How awesome is that???

THEN, there's the other PC uses besides gaming. When I'm done playing a game, I can go write a letter,

surf the Internet or any number of other things. And all this while watching my favorite TV show because

the TV isn't being used.

Oh, speaking of which... did I mention I can hook my PC up to my 52" TV if I like?

    • Not sure what country you’re in but in many countries you can absolutely jail the sellers behind businesses… in fact I’d say in most countries you can do that
    • I guess we are done since you refuse to read my comment you replied to or my other comment in another thread you were also a part of here.
    • I hate Slack, but Teams is much worse - maybe they've already optimized it, but it was a huge slog the last time I've checked about half a year ago. I miss my Skype.
    • Just ended up switching to Ubuntu. Not sure why I waited.
