Mine connects at about 33kbps... :| ona 56k modem.. wooo... highest its ever connected at is about 38.6kbps.. i can download at about 4kbps max.

Some people don't understand that despite having similar types of service (ie cable or DSL) various factors can influence speed.

The nitty gritty is simply that these posts are nothing more than mindless penis measuring ****ing contests.

I've got ADSL 256Kb down / 128Kb up :( and it costs about 30 USD a month

I heard of some service in my city that has 2Mb up and down and is thru wireless, you put an antena next to your PC (samll antena, not external unless signal very weak), dunno how it works and it is like 40 USD a month, however I live out of antena range (hill between antena and my house) i'll keep checking to see if they install a repeater

Also i don't know the latency any service has
