Boy do you guys have it good. I'm a 56k user, V.92 modem, never connect higher than 28.8kbps. :/ It's not quite as bad as you'd think since I use FF .9.2 but it can become very frustrating at times.

the wierd thing is, when i'm not downloading it goes to ~28 instead of the 16

and when i'm downloading when i'm not uploading it manages only 80 which is normal, but when i also start to upload smth, it goes way up to 110 :D

damn, i just miss my old isp (1mbit/512kbit[at least it was stable and at max always])

Next year VDSL : 15 - 20 Mbit/sec down, +-5Mbit/sec up

Gotta live very close to your exchange/CO to get that tho :/

I can only dream of the day if/when they do a mass rollout of that in the UK (and I imagine the cost will give me nightmares too :( )
