What about the same thing for Microsoft Office? I think it can be the same program, just

the files for Office should be added (like XP, 2K3, 2K are there yet now).

support for MS Office would make this great program even better. the process seems to be very similar with the only difference being the end iso wouldn't be bootable.

man this is the coolest thing ever..

i load xp at work all day long, on new machines as well as upgrades.

i just made a slipstreamed xp home oem and xp pro oem with sp2.. this will save me so much time its amazing..

thank you sooooooooo much..

Would it be at all possible for someone to make something like this but for it also be able to add programs/games to install (slipstream along with SP2) by just pointing to the .exe file?

Something that would have the calls for the programs already in (as many as you can fit + user added calls via small updates), and when you add the .exe you can select which application it is (via drop down menu) or add the application in a simple custom field, and with that it would apply the correct setting to install the program when XP w/SP2 installs.

I'd pay for an app like that.. :p

It's not work for me!

Please help Me!

Thanks

Well, I know that the version previous to 1.0.29 ONLY worked with the English version of XP and I see yours isn't. The newest version, 1.0.29, somewhat works from what I've found on other languages, so try that if you haven't already. :)

I had problems at first. Lots of "path not found" errors. I'll list them.

(1) Inserted XP Pro Corp. Ed. and I apprently it couldn't read the disc or something (although the disc is fine) so it would crash with a "path not found" error.

(2) Later I tried with my XP HOME OEM disc and that worked fine until I picked a non-standard temp folder and that gave me a crash with a "path not found" error too.

Eventually, I re-ran it with my HOME disc and left everything pretty much default and it worked fine. :) great tool, im gonna reformat tommorow with it :D

This does rocks, even for a slipstreaming n00b like me, I got my hands on SP2 & I was thinking of goin for nlite but though, WTH, All I will get is some low HD space that I can again get myself by going manual, so I just made a CD with This & rite now I M usaing it at my home, working on it, writting on in in this forum. Thanx Neowin

I tried to run it on a dutch Windows XP with SP2 already installed, and the program got me this error msg:

i.dsp?FotoAlbumID=40762&format=full&ext=.jpg

Any idea what that means?

Thank you soooooooooo much :D

Just used it to slipstream my swedish XP with SP2 and worked lika a charm! Only took 20 min and tried it on my laptop and it worked :p

Hi, just wondering... You slipstreamed swedish XP with a swedish SP2? Is the swedish SP2 out yet? Asking `cause I thought the norwegian and swedish SP2 was being released at the same time, and I haven't seen the norwegian one yet :) Or did you manage to slipstream swedish XP with english SP2?

    • I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.
    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
    • Honestly you're not wrong about AdGuard. Neowin frequently has lifetime license discounts for them and that's how I got my cheap family license a few years ago to run it on all my devices.
