Recommended Posts

Well ive been smoking everyday for about two years, i figure why the **** not im at uni and theres no real reason not too, sometimes I grow my own that way I dont even need to pay for it.

Not now though, im on my scheduled tolerance break :p

Back to the point of this thread though, sorry couldn't edit last post, I just moved into my new place so I will be taking some photo's of my new setup as soon as I get a hold of a camera, I have in-fact got a proper 'Workstation' like area now as opposed to the bed and couch :p

Hopefully later on tonight or tomorrow I will get a camera so I'll take some pics :)

Well as I said, here are the pictures of my new setup, I did have a 'workstation' area setup, but hated it, i like all my toys to be in the main area of the house, i dont even use the bedrooms :D

and yes, i am using a esky as my fridge, I didnt think of it tbh :p

For some reason I cant edit my posts, every time I tried lately it just comes up with a msgbox saying 'You dont have permission to edit that post' :/

Ah well, just a few notes I wanted to add, the photo's are **** :p I cant capture the mood lighting i got going on here with the piece of junk camera i got. I use the Bose Lifestyle system for movies, tv, and any other forms of music (parties etc), I use the Valve & Mordaunt Short system for good music, i got a monitor between the speakers (Infocus X1) but its not switched on, and i think thats about it :p

Dear God, this Bose console is so old!!! I know because my dad bought the same like 10 years ago and we still kickass with it :p! But IMO they have a better look than those today, and they still have the quality! (ok, they don't have 3 hundred billion connectors, but in a house, who cares?)

Edit : I wanted to show the virtual desktop of my Mac. here it is :

Water Bong bebeh! And nice set up as well!

Now you know how Neowin's foremost (are there others?) insane Mac Zealot likes to surf.

Pretty simple, clean, no clutter, lots of plants. iPod Touch is there as well.

Not seen in image is a Canon Powershot SD1000 (love it), and my trusty Motorola V551. Even though this little (amazingly durable) workhorse of a phone has never let me down, it'll be replaced by the iPhone when it arrives in Canada. I'll miss my little Moto, though. :(

Don't use Quick Edit.

Use the Full Edit to edit. Works for me whenever I get that problem.

Thanks :)

Yea, I think that one is actually about 16 years old, still works perfectly, but the quality sucks, i mean like absolutely terrible, there is such a massive gap between certain frequencies, on movies you can follow the entire dialog of the movie through the sub, dont think I've ever heard anyones voice that resembled a sub. :p

I only use it cause I hear playing movies etc. on valve amps wears the tubes hard.

Don't you get backache/neckache from leaning over with that setup?
he probably puts it on his lap

Yea I put it on my lap :p

I like your set up! Love the green and water, and white iMac! :)

    • Microsoft's new Xbox Shutdown change promises massive power efficiency gains by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft has been delivering a lot of changes for Xbox Insiders to test in recent weeks, and today, another wave of changes aimed at consoles was announced. The latest drop is testing features that let users find mutual friends easier, customize their UI, and streamline wishlisting. When looking at an Xbox friend's profile, an option will appear to see mutual friends, perhaps to get a refresher on how you know that person. This will depend on the privacy settings. The same applies to when checking the profile of a person who is not in the friends list, offering a quick way to find out if this is a known connection. Next, Microsoft is giving the option to change how the 'Home' and 'Games & Apps' sections show off available games. There is a new poster style that users can enable for an "immersive library experience." "We’ve also made personalization settings easier to navigate and customize by separating Home and My Games & apps into separate sections," adds the company. "And to make personalization even more accessible, we’ve added new shortcuts throughout menus, so you can quickly jump in and tailor your XBOX experience the way you want." Moreover, heading to the store page of an unreleased game will now offer players the option to wishlist directly from the game card. Lastly, Microsoft is making a change to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles that are in Sleep mode, making them use the more energy-saving 'Shutdown' mode instead automatically. The company says this can increase power savings by up to 20 times without impacting "performance, gameplay, or your ability to receive system, games or apps updates overnight." The only down side seems to be a longer startup time that can take up to 45 seconds. The setting was originally introduced in 2023, and this is only the latest update to it. The power option can be changed from the console settings at any time. This Xbox Insider update is rolling out today to select members of the program. As usual, Microsoft aims to bring it to more Insiders over time before they reach all Xbox owners. Head here to find out how to join the Xbox Insider Program to get a chance to test these features and upcoming ones on both consoles and PC.
    • 2 was a fun game but felt a bit shallow, like not enough there. I hope this expansion fixes that.
