Neyo, post pics of your new G5 setup in here ;).  Save the thread!!! :D  (Or are you waiting for that new desk?)

Haha, i completely forgot about this thread actually...

I'll post what I posted in the 'Post your Workstation' Thread...

Your right tho, I am kinda waiting for my desk... My Room is a COMPLETE Mess, and I dunno about you guys, but when its a mess it drives me insane - it REALLY irritates me. Anyhow, my dad went upto 'Wickes' (for you UK peeps! :p) and got a 4x8' board of plywood and a collection of Aluminium 1m poles... Hopefully it'll come out pretty sweet. He ain't bad @ this kinda stuff! :D

Oh, and that reminds me, the mini iPhoto site with the G5 pics from the day it arrived (Exactly last week), are here...

My Brother's eMac came Thursday, I actually video'd the little bugger on his Sony Camera - 640x480mpegVX. Came out pretty good... heh, I think i'm gonna edit it with some of "Petie's" voices...

He's really happy with it, and surprisingly getting to grips with PhotoShop now! He's a bit annoyed he can't really play SimCity with 256Mb RAM. So that's next months paycheck sorted out for him. Heh, he really likes it tho. - Oh and I stole iDVD off it! - IT *DID* come with iLife

i envy all of the setups here...

@ steve (can i call you that?)

what is the cube doing on the floor!!!? send it to me! :p

and also, how did u steal ilife off? doesn't the installer block you because it detects ur comp isn't an emac?

Haha, sure you can call that, sure suits me better than some 'alias' :)

My Room's been a bit of a tip recently... so its just down their temporary...

I gotta get round 2 selling it tho! Few Neowinians asked, but I guess they don't look beyond the specs when they've eyed up a price for it!?

iLife? I just copied the iDVD.app from his HDD to mine... Didn't install it - Gotta love Mac's huh?

< I challenged my dad 2 finish up, or get a GOOD way through my desk today - he seems' pretty up for it so we'll see! :D >

:ninja: Takes screen wipes :ninja:

Yes, all 3 on the G5. Viewsonic 21" is on Radeon 9600 Pro, the 17" Compaq are on two Radeon 7000 64MB PCI cards, respectively. Thanks for the kudos guys, I been waiting my whole life to buy a brand new computer.

I got a new office today, complete with a 1.8 g5 and a 20 inch cinema display. My dream job come true for now. My powerbook looks tiny compared to everything though.

Sorry for the bad pics, I'll post better ones in a couple of days when I get a chance to finish everything up.

    • "...a low price of just $340..." I don't think it means what you think it means.
    • This Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 32GB RAM with RGB is a great deal for limited time by Sayan Sen Memory prices have been through the roof for a while, though it seems like things might finally be getting better. If you are in the market for one, then grab this Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000 CL36 kit with RGB for a low price of just $340 (purchase link under the specs table down below). The kit is compatible with both AMD and Intel systems as it supports both EXPO and XMP overclocking profiles, respectively. 6000 MT/s is often the sweet spot for many systems as it provides ample data transfer speed while still being on Gear 1 mode. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
