Doom III is out there! W00T!

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me in no more than 5 words why I should give a flying f*ck about Doom III?? Please tell me there's more to it than flashy GFX.

1) Made by the creators of the first person shooter, Id Software (creators of Wolf3D and Doom 3)

2) Many publications around the world are blown away by this product (PC Powerplay Australia, for example, giving it a "Game of High Distinction" award)

3) Next generation game engine. Based off id's track record, perhaps the game that will define all first person shooters for the next 3-5 years.

4) Because everyone else is doing it, and you wan't to be cooooool, don't you? :p

nice (Y) bro

What's the difference between doom3 and doom3: sleeve: limited edition?

The second one is the only one HMV stock, someone on quakenet told me that you get one of these things with the special edition, but it seems a bit generous, and i have no idea how they'd fit it into the box

Welcome to like 6 hours ago. Prepare to be raped by mods for that.

For posting a link to a text document without any copyrighted material contained therein? Methinks your words spew forth from your rectum, dear sir. And, if you're right: BFD; my life will go on without interruption or agitation.

Becuase its to closely related to warez to be kosher here, afaik.

Well, the link was removed, so at the very least that's not a stamp of approval. Guess we'll see if there are any more "serious" repercussions. Still, I stand by my claim of indifference. Anyway, I'm just the messenger informing the foaming at the mouth masses of Doom's scene release; I ain't downloading it, picking up my copy on Tuesday.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
    • My issue is I can't access the forum on mobile if the site is set to Desktop mode on Vivaldi because it can't complete the Cloud flare am I a bot check! I know this is a Vivaldi issues as it has started happening on all cloud flare check sites, it's so annoying, I've reported it but no fix yet.
