Preload CS:Source early!

It's not rocket science, and no programming is needed. It just runs... it doesn't work brilliantly on the default settings, but it does work. Why do you need programming skills to click an .exe file? :rolleyes:

in the guide u edit the exe to give u console

I so badly want to play CS:S. I tried all that **** in the first posts but they dont work. Ah well. My friend has an extra CZ CDkey/Account, which he is giving to me, so i can try CS:S

You must have got a different/older version, the console works perfectly fine for me. Just press the `, or bind ` console...

As for Source, you might need to exit out of Steam and type the command into Run. It should then bring up Steam with the updating icon, and look in your Steamapps folder and look what GCF file is there...

i have no idea how to even preload source so im stuck there...

when i type the command all i get is steam to load and that is it.

yup all it did for me is load steam

and i am a buyer of cs:cz im ticked!

It worked for me. Luckily, I got it before it stopped working. :p

Umm with some hl2 files i think you can play it

no i think their plan is to get the preload content and overwrite the leaked copy of cs source with the new content effectivly updating it.

Its not Illegal, Valve said it doesnt care, it has to be authorised by them before you can play it, so all these people that dont have ATI Voucher or CZ game wont be able to play it even when its been released for us ATi/CZers.
