AS THE LATEST issue of PC Zone magazine in the UK hits subscribers - it's another week until it gets to newsstands - details are already leaking onto the net about the huge Quake 4 preview inside.

That's because it's based upon the Doom 3 engine :)

I wouldn't know, never played it.

But I understand your analogy, "Star Trek Elite Force" looks nothing like "Quake 3: Arena" - same technology but totally different gameplay. I can't wait for Quake IV to come out - sooooo looking forward to this compared to "Half Life 2" < where the hype has all gone due to delays and more delays.

Hopefully they'll make a bit more arcade-ish, Quake in my opinion has been about fast paced action.
