Just for me? Well so far in this thread spoiler tags have been used, oh and I'm pretty sure its almost the whole world that can't see the show straight away.

Spoiler tags are used for episodes that haven't aired yet and since this show is airing in the US first, then you are just going to have to suck it up and face the reality that you can't request a nation of people who have already seen the ep to fill this thread full of spoiler tags just because you want it to happen since it doesnt air for you yet. Plain and simple. What don't you understand?

Oh, so why are spoiler tags used in threads for movies?

cuz people may not have seen the movie yet?

btw, don't forget to watch GMA (Good Morning America) for the "secret" deleted scene.

The pirates' boat, being that it was small, does it signify that a mainland isn't far off?

I don't think they're pirates, I think they are from the Island...

BTW, anybody notice that the trees weren't "PULLED" out by the "Security System", it looked more like they were "PUSHED" or BLOWN up from below? I am guessing that whatever the Security System is is down below. Maybe accesible via the hatch?

Also, whats with the little black whisps of smoke, they moved almost like they were alive??

yea i thought they were blow out from the ground too. and when they threw the dynomite in the hole what was with the wisps of smoke behind them. such a cool show.

My question is this: What was with the white trash hillbillies, they are a little far away from their home in Arkansas to be doing something in the south pacific.  hmmm Weird.

I didn't see any "white trash hillbillies" in the show. I did see an old school fisherman looking person in a trawler with a few others in shadow. Why do they want boys though? I thought the last show was pretty good. Things I did not like were the "security system". I hope this will make sense when it is resolved. Does not look believable right now. That puff of smoke or what ever was a dissapointment.

Next season they all need to scavange that Black Rock ship. Send out teams to search the island.

Also, why dont they start a massive forest fire. Satellite is bound to pick it up.

thats cruel, what about all the wildlife.

ahh man :( i forgot about the extra scene and i missed it.

A friend of mine thinks the people on the boat are the "others" that the french woman was talking about (cant remember her name) and that they were after the boy (which they got) and not the baby. And the hatch seems something like said earlier, the place leading to the security system or a bunker of some sort.

Gahh, I hate it that they left it like that!

This show has to be one of the best ive seen! Im up to date with all the episodes, its so addictive!!! Cant wait to find out whats the "others" are!!

I think its coming to the UK this Summer (channel 4), which is good for the people who cant be bothered to download it.

Here's something else...

Someone said (I need to rewatch to verify) that the French woman said "her" when referring to her baby, Alex. If thats the case, I wonder if the young girl piloting the trawler could be her? How long has the French woman been on the islnad too? We know the signal is 16 years old, but she could have been there MUCH longer....

Last question, Sahid found her by following a cable from the beach. Frist off, what is the cable (steel cable, power cable, etc). Secondly, what is the OTHER side of the cable attached to? If its a power cable, is there a generator in the ocean? If not, is somethign teathered to the cable?

I don't think they're pirates, I think they are from the Island...

In the pilot episode though we saw the large shadow of the monster while the survivors were in the cockpit of the plane. Also, in Boone's episode we saw the trees pulled up, and Shannon pulled up as well - now, that may have been hallucinated, but there's no reason to believe it isn't the real monster.

We honestly don't know if she has been there the entire time - no one ever point blank asked her how long she has been there. I did not notice the girl piloting the boat, but I feel as if she was significant more attention would have been paid to her.

    • For a guy who claims to hate Farage and the ignorant, gullible, rightwing racist skinheads sponsored by Putin that his lies represent, you sure are quoting them time and time and time again, mate. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.
    • Do you live in the U.K? Do any of the people here that are against the UK leaving the E.U, live in the U.K? If not then why are you bothered? If you do live here then it is a different thing . Brexit was a good idea, should have done it years before, it was done badly, but the idea was good. You are saying the same thing as remainers do, oh we did what Putin wanted, we listened to the lies and Farage. I hate Farage and never believed most of what he said, certainly did not believe the £350m a week for the NHS. But we did pay a lot of money to the E.U and yes some of it came back, but what is the point of paying it out for only some of it to come back? Get out of the E.U, no money to them and in theory we can use the money to do things in the country. I said in theory, but our governments are a total and complete waste of space. No matter what colour rosette they wear. You and others say it was a mistake and yet the two main parties in the U.K are not looking at rejoining the EU, I wonder why that is? I was not tricked by anyone. Makes no odds now, we are out and have been for 10 years, what we need is a decent government to run the country. All they do is shout at each other like a load of kids and seems to do nothing and make this country more into a police and nanny state. Getting more like China all the time.

    • Yeah... The root of my comment, ostensibly, is how to spin the story via the actual technical merits of the solution! * Decentralized (aka federated) solution with built-in encrypted ephemeral message transport, * Transport via Relays (intermediary servers) with no message archival, * Second configurable pathway are actual email servers (if DNS records are programmed accordingly) via IMAP protocols carriage, * "Chat-over-Email" is the design pattern adopted; it can either leverage full-blown Email Server (must use the INBOX folder) to exchange all received messages/edits/reactions (so be weary of notifications overloads) [best practice is creating a separate email acct used explicitly for federated chat purposes!] or leverage its built-in Relay Server mechanism which actually resides on-device (by default but can be configured otherwise), * By virtue of be a decentralized/federated model, all other intermediary servers who may pass-along messages (while the recipient's final relay/device is inaccessible) cannot snoop on the messages due to the encrypted nature of contents. The intermediaries may, however, analyze the metadata due to the simple fact that routing mechanisms require hints for relay destinations. Unfortunately, whomever is posting about DeltaChat across socials are misleading with "zero metadata" claims -- especially when the Relays (according to their own technical documents) mandate the addition of chat-version metadata and other decorations in order to actually transport any message. -- Based on this summary, I'd prefer if they'd better dual-path message transport (email server add-in, federated relay engine) rather than patch-on email protocols to existing federated social media frameworks. They're frankensteining something rather than extending widely-deployed technology stacks.
