Lost has got me hooked.

The trailer for the next episode shows

The crazy lady who Syed ran into come into the camp and warn about the "Others" returning. She claims that there are 3 options, run hide or die. Scary stuff. I still think its aliens on some sort of experimental visit to earth studying human behavior.

I'm betting that the hatch is some sort of Pandora's box with the disease that got to Rousseau's team. Who knows... all I know is that I am absolutely dying to see what in the hell happens in the next two weeks!!! :bounce:

Everything is supposed to be scientifically explainable or something like that.

The same people who Ethan was with are probably gonna come looking for revenge and stuff.

First off...some spoilers about tomorrow's show regarding Charlie, Hurley and Jin...

"Charlie's story intertwines a lot more closely with Claire by the end of it. There's going to be quite a rift in the camp, with the 13 or 14 regulars we've come to know split into allegiances," Dominic Monaghan revealed. Jorge Garcia said: " I'm coming back, I think. I mean, I'm alive at the end of this season, so I assume I'm coming back. I'm not a guy who just disappears in the crowd." Jin will be on the raft.

And JJ Abrams has something to say about Season 2.

"[season 2] is very much another chapter in the story, and it's one of those things where you really don't wanna say anything, but...they've been there for 40 days, and they've been pretty reluctant, for obvious reasons, to venture out too much. If the first 40 days was about their arrival and them realizing that they're going to be there for a while, I'd say the next 40 days is more about their establishing a sense of society and of more permanence, and there are going to be specific story points that will give them very specific objectives that will be part of the overall arc of the season next year." Damon Lindelof says: "One of the really cool things, to me, is that we are going to be introducing new characters to the show. And it'll just get out who we've cast, because we're gonna start shooting the show in July. I think people's default position will be, "Oh, they're all people who we just haven't met yet," sort of in the chorus of, you know, meat socks, as we call them, the people in the background... Maybe some of these characters will come from the chorus and maybe they won't, but word will start to trickle out over the summer about who's joining the cast of Lost, and, more importantly, who's leaving the cast."

So anybody catch yesterday's episode ?

My cheerios look different than your cheerios! My bag of weed looks different than your bag of weed!

All baggies of heroin are going to look alike.

So whats going to happen with everyone thats on the raft? is the story still going to follow with them or are they just out of the picture for a while?

Very good ep by the way.

I hear that they are going to find something out there is in the ocean that is going to be very suprising to us loyal Lost viewers...

Yea they will probably

Continue forward and either ...

1) get attacked by a sea monster or whatever tha would cause one of the members to fall into the ocean and makes Sawyer go and help him up.

2) they continue (same scene with Sawyer but without the monster) they somehow come back to the island just by going forward

3) they find other survivors? Remember 3 people from the back of the plane should be alive.

Sawyer will probably die though... but I hope not. they can kill Michael if they want though.

Sea monster would be too predictable...and its rumored that what they find out there is surprising as hell...

Haha...nah, that would be too weird...everything in this show would have to be explained by science or pseudo science, as the producers have said.

They probably WILL find other survivors, but not in the ocean. Remember that Michelle Rodriguez (as Ana Lucia) told Jack she would be in seat 42b...a lottery number, by the way...and that in the back of the plane. Now...Rodriguez is known for playing badass chicks, so I'm pretty sure that by the end of the finale, we will see that the other side of the island has a whole new set of surviors...from the back of the plane...I can imagine it now in the last 15 minutes of the finale...

Jack: Oh my god...Ana Lucia?

Ana Lucia: Jack? Jack-no-ring? We thought you guys died!

Jack: What do you mean we?

Ana Lucia: The survivors. The tail crashed in the ocean near the island and we were able to swim to shore.

Jack: Where are they? Have you been managing ok?

Ana Lucia: Mostly near the tower next to the beach. Supplies were low but we managed to keep away from that thing and find food. It's ok everybody. He's from the flight too.

(Other tail end survivors walk in from the jungle...makeshift spears in hand due to lack of a big friggin knife box.)

Jack: Tower? Looks like we have a lot to catch up with. Who's in charge here?

Ana Lucia: You're looking at her, Jack.

bum bum bum....LOST

And just imagine what a great little storyline it would be if tough, aggressive Ana Lucia started putting the moves on Jack...making Kate ever the jealous little fugitive for Season 2. Wow...I'm way too into this show. Haha.

I was told from a friend that the big twist is that they all actually died in the plane crash and are spirits on the island trying to make peace with themselves before they leave this dimension or whatever it is that spirits do.

Don't know if it's true or not, and sorry if it's already been posted.

Hmmmm, that was my idea too. Maybe we have a mutual friend. I thought it odd how there was a lot of religious symbolism early on in the series. Plus, how each of the main characters seemed to have some sort of epiphany or make peace with themselves or their lives as they once knew it. To quote from the hymn, "I once was LOST, but now am found".

Would be a nice plot twist for a movie (Sixth Sense, anyone?) but I now I'm not so sure about it.

For the last time...

THEY ARE NOT DEAD.

THEY ARE NOT IN AN ALIEN POD UNDER STUDY

THEY ARE ON AN ACTUAL PLACE IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC.

The producers and JJ himself have said that while those concepts are interesting, they never meant for this to be a mind**** type show. The IDEA is interesting...but it really brings the whole thing to a screeching halt and as good as this show is, would you really want it to end on such a note? Hell no.

Remember guys...everything on this show is based on actual science or pseudo-science, so you will never see anything like those crazy theories above. However...those observations about religion, philosophy, etc, are spot on. This show will incorporate those themes but ONLY because this is a thematical series.

Remember what the producers said...this is a CHARACTER driven show. The gimmicks like the monster, the island, the others...are ALL to interact with the overall characterization structure. The mystery is not in what the black rock was, for instance, but what it means to the characters, and that is what makes this show so original and brilliant.

There are only 3 survivors other than the 48. Michelle Rodriguez and 2 more. Apparently they *might* have landed on the other side of the island where Jack's crew never ventured.

1st season: Survival and getting the general knowledge of what there is on the island.

2nd season: Finding every bit of detail of the island (lots of details in season 2 and lot more surprises and undiscovered places)

Anyways... On the preview for the next episode you can see that Sawyer jumps into water just after we see Jin or Michael looking at the radar monitor which seems to have picked up an object. A lot of people are saying Sawyer is jumping into the water to save someone. He might actually be going into the water to find whatever the radar picked up. The directors of Lost are really making us run around with theories. It's like that time when we thought Sayid shoots the f*ck out of Locke. This is one of the series on television that truely deserves being watched. But the problem is, after Season 2, it's going to become an annoyance since it'll probably be mostly the same thing they did last week etc... I hope they end it on Season 2. They shouldn't venture too far. Or get too greedy.

Anyways from what I know in the next episode...

{Those are not spoilers because they are actually on the previews so go check 'em out}

1) It seems that Danielle takes Claire's baby (O_O .. hmm ... maybe it's a way to lure the others? or is Danielle(16 years) gone crazy for real?)

2) We know Alex is actually a ... GIRL! (Notice Danielle saying The Others took Her)

3) The Black Rock is a ship. (Probably the one in which Danielle got to the island)

4) The ship has a skeleton or more inside ... (I think I saw some chains around it ... erm.)

5) The others have feet and face (Not sure but we'll see ...)

6) Someone said watch carefully for the Hawain shirt guy (We'll do :))

7) The monster will be seen ... (Maybe just a part of the monster but still ... I wanna see that thingy.)

8) Walt is crazy (No, seriously, Look at the kid going "Don't open the hatch, Locke. Don't." crazy stuff)

9) The junky .... what's his freaken name ... the hobbit on the island. :s ... oh yes! Charlie ... he punches Sayid (yea ... he PUNCHES Sayid in the face)

10) Sayid is flirting with a crying Shannon (Her mascara is running ... just kidding)

11) Locke or someone else ... but my bet is on Locke, He's being dragged by something and someone jumps to rescue him ... I think it's Jack (WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATAY FACTORY)

12) Sawyer jumps into the ocean (Heroic huh?)

13) Jack asks "Who brought us here?" on which Locke replies "The island" (Locke is nuts, trust me)

14) Some explosions here and there.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • Are they marketed as an entry into astronomy or astrophotography? I do astrophotography. With big rigs, lots of computers, cables and headaches. I love it. And by learning this ridiculously complex hobby, I’ve learned about the objects I’m shooting. Astronomy followed from photography.
    • Microsoft confirms Recycle Bin bug across all versions of Windows by Usama Jawad A couple of days ago, we reported that the latest Patch Tuesday update has seemingly resulted in a lot of issues for many users, including OneDrive and Dropbox access problems, BitLocker recovery lockouts, and BSODs. Although Microsoft is yet to acknowledge these bugs, it has confirmed another, relatively smaller issue across all supported versions of Windows. In an update on its Windows Release Health Dashboard, Microsoft has confirmed that after installing June's Patch Tuesday update (KB5094126), you'll experience unexpected behavior when leveraging Recycle Bin. Basically, when you attempt to delete an item from the Recycle Bin, the confirm dialog will show you the internal file name of that content rather than the actual name. For example, the file may be named abc.png, but the confirm dialog will ask if you're sure that you want to permanently delete $Rxxxxx.png from the Recycle Bin. This is pretty much it for the scope of the bug itself; it just displays the wrong name in the confirm dialog. The correct name will be shown in the list view of the Recycle Bin and if you restore the file, it will return with the correct name as well. This issue affects pretty much all supported versions of Windows client and server, including: Client: Windows 11, version 26H1; Windows 11, version 25H2; Windows 11, version 24H2; Windows 11, version 23H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 Server: Windows Server 2025; Windows Server 2022; Windows Server 2019; Windows Server 2016; Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2012 As things currently stand, Microsoft is working on a concrete solution that will be released in a "future" Windows update. It remains to be seen if the firm will wait till the next Patch Tuesday or roll out an out-of-band (OOB) fix. The good news is that commercial customers can deploy a workaround right now, but they will have to reach out to Microsoft Support for Business for additional details.
    • They said by this time everyone will have flying cars. WELL...
    • A study by physicist Henry Tye of Cornell University suggests that the universe may not expand forever. Instead, it could eventually stop expanding, begin contracting and end in a "Big Crunch" roughly 20 billion years from now. Maybe not as we now know that time can flow backwards.
    • Of course. Simply reverse the polarity.
