"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

It's one thing to draw out the mysteries and not reveal too much, but in the finale Lost became about plot and not characters, which made it much less powerful than it could have been. They could have revealed secrets, which in the process just create more mysteries, as the show did in the early going. It's still a powerful show and too soon to be written off, but the problems it has been facing I think arose from the fact that the show is such a big hit - the writers realized they might be on for a while and started to stretch out the plot way too much.

ah dang. as soon as i read this i switch to ABC and caught the last 30 secsonds...? :pinch::

actually, the secret scene was lame. it looked like a part of the scene before Claire's baby was taken. She and Charlie were discussing why she didn't name her baby yet. It was about a min or so. I recorded it so lemme try to upload it somewhere

more hype from the show...i swear they made it out to be something big. I dont know if its the show or ABC doing the hype, but all stations hype shows, but ABC over hypes to letdowns sometimes. Maybe Good Mourning America need ratings? i never seen a TRL'ish scene for a old guy doing the weather until today, all thoses girls yelling and screaming, i guess weather is hot.

I think its pretty obvious that "the Others" are the people who took Walt.

Haven't you learned by now that nothing on Lost is obvious? It is only likely...

This was the worst finale I've ever seen. I'm sooo disappointed at "Lost"!!!!!!

Explosions, death, making fun of plotholes, revealing the hatch, learning more about personal relationships as they boarded the plane, Hurley's wonderfully funny back stories, the incident with the raft, revealing that Danielle was involved wth Claire's initial attack, finidng what was causing the black smoke, Locke's weirdness being revealed finally to Jack, more clues about the monster, introducing new characters for season 2... what was dissapointing exactly?

The only thing I didn't like was that some of the actions were predictable... but only a few.

We honestly don't know if she has been there the entire time - no one ever point blank asked her how long she has been there.  I did not notice the girl piloting the boat, but I feel as if she was significant more attention would have been paid to her.

Well if you recall the episode when Sayid was captured by the french woman... he mentioned to her about the 16-year broadcast and she says "Has it been that long?"

That is the only time she has ever heard about 16-years from anyone...

hmm... k... here's the secret scene.? I wasn't sure what codecs to use when I took out the GMA crap so it's xvid/lame encoded, 3.7MB.? sorry if it doesn't work for you, i tried

very nice! Thanks for uploading it, DLing it now.

Edit: Played fine in VLC, thanks!:D:D

Claire's screams are annoying.

And, now I remember the Arzt actor. He was Leno from "The Late Shift."

Or you were just watching Kimmel :shifty:

Checkout his IMDB page, that's quite a long list...

Good show, good finale. Learned a few more things about the characters in this finale.

I just can't wait till next season, how crazy do you think it would be if this series last 8 seasons? For 8 years they're stuck not knowing why they haven't been saved yet. What a crazy island.

And the secret hole? Who knows...

Trailer for season 2 hidden on a brand new website for lost...

Go to

http://www.oceanic-air.com/seatingchart.htm

then click on the following seat numbers in that order and enjoy the ride ;)

4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42

Also, if you go to the mainpage of that site and click around...you find this...

Now...the description of the monster....looks pretty close to what we saw in the finale, and a "mapinguari" is a giant sloth-like creature seen by indians in the forests.

...very interesting indeed...

Yeah, like if you click on seat 42D (thats the seat the woman at the bar in the Airport sat), Jack's seat turns orange and if you click on it, bottles pop up and flash everywhere :p

edit: Apparently that doesnt happen every time, weird, it happened like 3 times in a row.

after viewing the source page, there's something there:

<p>If anyone should find this message, please get word to Sandra Rafflethorpe of Palm Avenue in Lewiston, Idaho that her sister, Sally is alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...</p>

cool! and who's sally?

The first season was only like a month...

If each season was a year long, they'd all have beards down the ground by now.

I found some pictures while clicking on the seats for the airplane on that Oceanic website.? There are others that I haven't captured yet.? Sorta interestin:):)

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
