"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

Recommended Posts

Guess you're not from the US.... the new season will likely debut in mid/late September.  That is when most TV shows resume new episodes here... spending the majority of the summer filming.  There are also breaks around Januarary for more filming and to spread the new episodes around a bit.  52 weeks in a year.. only 20-26 episodes per TV season.

nop, not from the states

thanks :D

just can't wait till Season 2 comes out :D

Finally got to watch it :). Because I saw it on my computer, it wasn't the best quality. Did anyone else notice that you could slightly see the monster in the reflection of Locks eye? I had another look, but yeah didn't see too much. Also, on the raft, I didn't see clearly who shot who? It looked like Sawyer went for the gun, but he ended up in the water?

Yea Sawyer went for his gun, but the other guy shot him first and Sawyer went into the water.

Right behind the yellow box on the main page of the Oceanic Airlines site:

If anyone should find this message, please get word to Sandra Rafflethorpe of Palm Avenue in Lewiston, Idaho that her sister, Sally is alive and stranded on an island somewhere in the South Pacific. Please send help soon. Things are bad. And they're getting worse...

Sally

Also hidden in that yellow box within the emergency message:

Robert D. West, of Santa Barbara, California, USA survived a horrific plane crash and is stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found, please forward word of my fate to parents, Mr. and Mrs. John West, of Tucson Arizona. Thank you.

Robert

The other half of the plane survived and are skilled hackers who have access to internet?

i don't remember that scene of the engine exploding...

i can remember it but looked in another angle....

and the engine exploding because of it sucking a guy inside?

Yes for us the reason that engine exploded was the guy getting sucked inside but maybe it could have been some other reason ? It looks like the grey flying object is almost sucked into the engine but some how it manages to avoid it ? I dunno, could be many reasons.

I figured the gray flying "something" was being blown around because of the engine.

Nope, if you watch closely it moves towards the engine initially and then moves away.

So I was watching the rerun tonight, and I noticed how many times the numbers pop up in Hurley's section... 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42

1. When the car breaks down, 42KM, 23C, and 16KPH. Then the speed drops from 8 to 4.

2. He pays 1600 to the little dude for the scooter.

3. Hes goes past a group of girls with jerseys, the number in order is 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.

4. Gate 23 he arrives at.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
