"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

Recommended Posts

I just finished reading the thread on ABC about Kentaro, interesting read, specially because it has a lot of science involved. If ti were to be true, he just explained what is going on in the island, I found it very interesting how Schoedinger's cat uses the term LOST to explain its theory, I always wondered why that show was called LOST.

Its interesting how they tied together jack chosing to save his future wife over shannon's dad.

We see Jack pass by in the hospital. The head-on collision that killed Shannon's dad was the same accident that injured Jack's future wife. Remember a few episodes back when they had 2 victims in the hospital...Jack made the decision to let one patient die because he was too far gone...and he saved the woman.

i was wondering if that was the same car accident

yeah, you even see anna-lucia holding the gun.... which is discharged and emptied and there was only 1 bullet left if you remember and you only heard 1 gunshot.. i dunno what else it could be

Yeah, if I remember correctly, I think I saw the action of the gun locked in the rear position meaning it had fired the last remaining bullet in the chamber.

Possible Spoiler

Shannon's wound doesn't really look like a gunshot wound to me. We can't really see the damage to her torso per se, but her shirt/top has a pretty pronounced vertical tear in it as she stumbles toward Sayid.

That tear looks nothing like what i would expect a bullet entry hole to look like and everything like the damage a cutting/stabbing weapon might cause.

I noticed that the looks of horror on Jin's and Michael's faces would seem to indicate that they thought A-L shot Shannon. But now I recall that the last we saw of the Tail party prior to the shooting, A-L had basically told them to run for their lives. I'd say it's very possible that the shooting happened without any direct witnesses. For example, A-L runs into the clearing and sees Shannon getting gored by an Other/someone with a spear. A-L shoots at the perp and either misses or doesn't bring him/her down. Perp runs off into the jungle leaving mortally wounded Shannon to fall into Sayid's arms as the rest of the Tailies run up and draw the same conclusion that Sayid has clearly reached: A-L shot Shannon.

It's also been mentioned by a few people on forums that the killer will be revealed in Episode 08

Was hoping Michelle Rodriguez dies, god damn i can't stand her. Amazing ending though.

My thoughts exactly!!!!

"Look at me...I'm so tough...I'm a bad ass....I'm 4 feet tall!!!" Michelle Rodriguez 2005

I just about stopped watching Lost when she showed up.

(she even sucked in Halo 2 and that was just her voice).

My First reaction after last moment was this -

I actually posted this on another forum

"How the Hell did Lucia shot her???

Can she really be that Moronic???

And, looks like there is NO Walt, how did they see him???

What the ....???

Well i guess we will find out in the next episode, if she has no bullets left then it must of been her but if she still has a bullet in the gun then it cant be.

What if she is shooting at Walt? Since that Walt part doesn't make any sense to me. (This post is a guess, I DON'T know any spoilers)

I did NOT know half of these! So is this actually a spoiler or your opinion, like mine?

It's more of an opinion and observation, but I've heard lots of people mentioning the same theory.

Something else that creeped me out..

Walt speaking backwards

Reversed.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
