he was just being nice to her so she wouldn't suspect

he has evil all over his face

Keep in mind that the actor playing Ethan (William Mapother) is Tom Cruise's cousin. It is totally possible that this is all just part of a Scientology experiment. For real. :alien:

LMFAO so we might see Tom Cruise is actually "him" that zeke was chatting about :shifty: :shiftyninja:

Think about it. That would explain why Katie is with Tom, he's after her baby since Claire got away!

its all making sense  ...mission impossible 4 could well be set on the island then with a war against the losties  :shiftyninja:

Yeah, that must be it. I mean, if Alex was taken when she was born, or she was very little, then she doesn't even know she was taken, so we could expect her to be fully on their side.

But for some reason alex, who was aware of what was going to happen with claire, saved her. Definitely there must be other good people there, otherwise I wouldn't understand alex's action.

Another thing.. wasn't there medicine in the hatch (the first one). Desmond took some when he went away, but I'm sure he left something, right? It was cleary the same thing, judging by the number.

I wonder why this 'sickness' requires periodical shots...

I think there was medicine in the hatch (and he did leave them), its the same colour. I think perhaps Alexi (or is it just Alex?) has seen other experiments happen and she knows what they're going to do to claire once they get the baby, thus she warns her. I was personally expecting her to be all feral like the others..

theres that other group who walked through the jungle when eko and jin where hiding the bush...remember they had the kid with the teddy

Who are the same people who attacked the Tailies on the first night, and who also happen to be in league with that guy who pretended to be from the plane (on the Tailies side), and who seems to be connected to Zeke, just as Ethan was. And Zeke was pretending to look like an Other as well.. so somehow I think its all just a act.

Yeah, the "others" are just a form of "control" for the LOSTies, they are a way of Dharma having presence on the island, to watch, test, manipulate the actions of the LOSTies. Remember (trekkies fans) how the federation had outpost and they disguise themselvs as locals so they can study and learn from inferior races????

"SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!"

Classic quote from somewhere but its true...doesnt anyone care about them :pinch:

I remember that quote from the simpsons, but probably they took it from somewhere else =-D

thats it gabureiru...it was reverend lovejoys wife said that

Just been listening to desmond...he didnt go into kelvin dying much did he?...MP3

Ana-Lucia is going to find the balloon and so Locke will think Henry Gale is telling the truth, so release him.. Even tho the whole wizard of oz story points to him lying and/or taking on another identity. The whole Locke mind games thing is quite weak IMO, seemed far too easy to wind him up and the fact in the ep16 preview Locke says he wants him out the hatch shows he wasnt acting

i think ive solved it!

the most recent episode "Maternity Leave" had a few extra characters in it. The guy that came to the door, when claire was inside the shelter, was in fact, ZEKE! You can tell by his voice, and if you look at him, hes clean shaven.

So you tell yourself, ya so? We'll remember when Kate opened up that box in the locker, it had the toque and the beard inside of it. That was Zekes disguise when they were inside the boat, and when they met in the forest again!

So my next point is, Why? We'll the "others" are not who you think they are, they are infact, scientists. The survivors, Kate, Jack, etc.. are all research experiments.

This would prove how they found them when they were on the raft (end of season 1). They were watching them closely, and preventing them from leaving...

When they met them in the forest, they were stopping them from reaching there other facility...

The new hatch they found, the hospital were claire was found, was in fact abondon, because they knew she would lead the survivors to the hatch.. this is why claire was drugged up the entire time, to prevent her from remembering.

thats it :)

so you basically summed up the last page in half and then you said you figured it out... sure ;)

to tell you the truth.. i didnt even read the last 2 pages :s

i guess everyone already figured it out :p

hmm, i can't edit:

Good news lost fans!

next episode date is: March 8, 2006

"Whatever the Case May Be"

A briefcase may contain insights into Kate's unexplained past, the rising tide threatens to engulf the beach and fuselage, and Rose and a grieving Charlie bond over Claire's mysterious disappearance.

    • Ignoring the fact that this "colony" kicked the empire of King George's arse during those early years... You are confusing the First Industrial Revolution (which was pulled out of some butt-hurt Brit historian's arse) with the Second Industrial Revolution (aka the Technological Revolution), which transitioned the world from the UK sailing Empire to the USA as a superpower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_Revolution
    • OpenAI announces GPT‑5.6 Sol, its next-generation flagship model beating Claude Mythos 5 by Pradeep Viswanathan Credit: OpenAI OpenAI today announced a limited preview of its new GPT-5.6 model series, which includes the Sol, Terra, and Luna models targeting different price points. GPT-5.6 Sol is the flagship model targeted at demanding reasoning and agentic workloads. GPT-5.6 Terra is positioned as a balanced model for everyday work, featuring performance competitive with GPT-5.5 while being half the cost. GPT-5.6 Luna is the fastest and most affordable model, delivering strong capability at a lower price point. Unlike previous model releases from OpenAI, GPT-5.6 is starting with a limited preview for a small group of trusted partners due to U.S. government restrictions. As expected, OpenAI previewed its plans and the models' capabilities to the U.S. government ahead of launch, and the government asked OpenAI to limit the first wave of access to select partners. OpenAI also mentioned in the official announcement blog post that it does not believe this type of government access process should become the long-term default. OpenAI highlighted that GPT-5.6 Sol comes with a robust safety stack featuring improved protections for higher-risk activity, sensitive cyber requests, and repeated misuse. The company also spent several weeks pressure-testing the system and hardening it against real-world attacks. On the capability side, as expected, GPT-5.6 Sol is OpenAI’s strongest model yet. It delivers better results in agentic performance across coding, biology, and cybersecurity. On the Terminal-Bench 2.1 benchmark, which tests command-line workflows requiring planning, iteration, and tool coordination, GPT-5.6 Sol sets a new record with a score of 91.9%, beating Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5. Additionally, GPT-5.6 introduces a new "max" reasoning effort for even deeper reasoning. The new "ultra" mode uses subagents to accelerate complex work beyond what a single agent can handle. Pricing starts at $5 per million input tokens and $30 per million output tokens for Sol. Terra costs $2.50 for input and $15 for output, while Luna costs $1 for input and $6 for output. GPT-5.6 comes with more predictable prompt caching, including support for explicit cache breakpoints and a 30-minute minimum cache life. Sol will also launch on Cerebras in July at speeds up to 750 tokens per second for select customers. OpenAI plans to make GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna broadly available in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API in the coming weeks.
    • I'm not sure if you are trolling because I saw people saying this with the straight face, but there were no United States of America when industrial revolution started, just United Colonies 🤣 p.s. I'm not British, so I'm not offended.
    • Glad I uninstalled this incredibly buggy browser. Looking at that changelog, they clearly don't test their updates at all.
