Zeke was talking with Ethan in the medical bunker.

has anyone else noticed the pattern in babies here?

technically first was the children from the tallies, then walt, then they tryed to take claires, and now sun is saying she needs a pregnency test. Also, all the women who are on the island are young and seem about the perfect age and health to produce a healthy baby.

it seems the "Dharma Corp/Others" have a huge interest in the children of the survivors, seems like a specific interest even. remember when claire was told not to let anybody else raise her baby? seems as if the psychic from the flashback already knew someone wanted to take her baby and thats what he frantically was trying to get into her head when she was so set on having someone adopt it. and now from this episode when claire is talking to her baby towards the end, shes expresses her realization of the fact that SHE needs to raise her baby and noone else

does anyone have any theories on that 'infection'?

did rosseau's team have the same infection as what the dharma's didnt want the baby to get?

what if its a controlled medical research disease/infection... biological testing from dharma?! i mean, they DO have an immunisation, so who says they didnt invent or unleash it?!

im just astounded that if this is research, WHY DO THEY PUT SO MANY LIVES AT RISK (or to loss)?

If I wanted to suggest a completely paranoid theory,

Aaron magically getting sick.. personally, with what we've seen of the island and its abilities, I wouldn't be surprised the island made him sick to send Claire off on her stupid adventure (and magically Aaron recovers once she has completed that adventure). Perhaps what happened to Rosseau (sp?) was nothing more than an experiment to see if she would kill them or whatever... when she would crack.

As I said, a paranoid theory

Indeed he is... but word is he will returning before the end of the season.

with or without walt is the question...he's gone a wild goose chase...becuase my friendly said didnt he...he wont find us

It so obvious, I remember from the first season that the fortune teller says that the baby must be raised by Claire and no one else because it is special. hence, the reason why the baby is able to recover from the infection is because it has natural antibodies to it.

well michael being gone raises one question..why haven't the losties explored the island a bit more..

sure..there are polar bears..floating smokes, people wacked in the head ..

but why not circle the island or something..i would do that

or at least move into an area, keep the trees in that area and start clearing area in circles around them into the forest, so there is a open space and they can see what is coming (plus have wood to burn/build with.)

this annoys me as well, they know the others have a boat, desmond arrived in a boat... so walking round the island would help them find some sort of pier the others use or atleast parts of any boat like desmonds which ran aground.

also they know there is a radio tower on the island, why dont they try to find that, Rousseau probally dosent have as much experiance with radios as Sayid so he could perhaps boost the signal so it can be heard by somone, tho we alredy know it can broadcast far off the island as the navy ship picked up the previous message.

Wel remember that there is a fear of the jungle areas, so that has limited their exploration. But in reality, I stick to my theory that they are not exploring because they are not supposed to. They are unknowingly following a script and rule set of behavior.

well they have been told by the others that it is their island, they have been told that they will not be able to explore the island, they have tried to but one way or another ends up in a critial situation, and the others have superiority over the land and situation

i suppose it is reasonable to assume exploring the island is risky, although the tail group did reach the original group from another part of the island, so some extent to exploring is possible

i think there is just a way for the group to find exploit holes in the dharma group, because the group has been able to find hatches and other resources already

    • Microsoft kills AI-powered history search feature in Edge by Usama Jawad In June 2025, Microsoft began rolling out AI-powered history search functionality with Edge 138. The idea was simple: allow customers to use natural language phrases and synonyms to find their desired history items rather than matching keywords exactly. Although the company had already rolled out this capability in a phased manner, it has now decided to cancel it. In an update on its Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft has announced that it has decided not to move forward with AI-powered history search. The company has not detailed the exact reasoning behind this move, but it has apologized to customers for the inconvenience. The move is rather interesting as it seemingly could have improved user productivity. Edge users wouldn't have to worry about typos or exact keywords, and just focus on what they were trying to locate in their browser history. Microsoft had also assured users that an on-device AI model would be leveraged for this functionality, and no data would be sent to the cloud. IT admins also had the ability to control its availability through the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy. When the feature began rolling out last year, many of our readers called it creepy, noting that they couldn't trust Microsoft to keep their data on their device. Others also questioned its usefulness, saying that it's simply a way for Microsoft to insert more AI bloat into its products. Although the Redmond tech giant had stated that it will be more mindful about surfacing Copilot features in Windows 11 apps, we later discussed how this is mostly a rebranding exercise rather than an actual axing of AI functionalities. Indeed, a Microsoft executive later emphasized how they want to reshape Windows for the agentic AI era. That said, it does seem like at least AI-powered Edge history search isn't a part of that vision.

    • Not likely, of course, that we will see routine citizenship checks as they only involve compliance with existing federal voting laws already on the books for decades. This seems a non-issue entirely. Only fools would have the government rush headlong into an AI program few can understand or predict, or even debug...
