"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

Looks like they do actually find the hot air balloon then.

C'mon, lets be honest here, its not the real balloon that they find. The guy is clearly an "Other." They are pretty smart, he's smart enough to be playing Locke. They probably planted it there before knowing that eventually his story would be checked out before he was allowed into the group.

I think a balloon did crash and that both occupants died and the others saw this and mr gale just assumed identity but he took the other body the mans one away so if they did go hunting for it they would find just one :shifty:

hmm, I don't know, I think they are TRYING to make us think he is an Other because of his facial expressions and comment to Locke, but I think he might be legit also.

I also still think that the psychologist (the chick that Hurley likes) is an Other.

Well thats what I was saying that producers said that Losities will find that Gale is legit and we'll see how he introduced conflict between them.

As for the Libby, latest leaked spoilers confirm that she is infact appearing in one of hurley's flashbacks very soon and most probably really as a shrink.

Episode 2.16: The Whole Truth

I can tell you on March 22 there's a flashback episode that involves Jin and Sun, and you're gonna find out a lot more about how they got together and the troubles they had before they got to the island.

I'm pretty sure [sun] is [pregnant].

Episode 2.17: Lockdown

When the hatch suddenly takes on a life of its own, Locke is forced to enlist the help of an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Ana Lucia, Sayid and Charlie go off into the jungle to find out the truth about Henry. Katey Sagal guest stars.

Word on the street is that [Locke] will be on crutches for the remainder of the season...Lets just say The Hatch strikes back.

Episode 2.18: Title Unknown

When Hurley flashes back to his mental-institution days next month, we're going to meet an old friend of his who looks a lot like Charlotte's husband on Sex and the City.

i'd rather not know the spoilers for the upcoming episode. i dont think they will find the hot air balloon.. and in that time they are gone, he will convince locke to release him, or he will attack him, and run off. just a guess :p

Well that whole thing about Locke being on crutches, and how he was on a wheel chair, and now he's able to walk, reminds me of Profesor X and the effect he has on Savage Island

I think lock has alot to do with the island in general... cant tell you my reasons cause i dont knwo just who really is in a wheel chair, then can walk and be one the best the island has....

problem is the show got everyone to like him INCLUDING ME

but i would trust him for ISH!!!!

    • Microsoft kills AI-powered history search feature in Edge by Usama Jawad In June 2025, Microsoft began rolling out AI-powered history search functionality with Edge 138. The idea was simple: allow customers to use natural language phrases and synonyms to find their desired history items rather than matching keywords exactly. Although the company had already rolled out this capability in a phased manner, it has now decided to cancel it. In an update on its Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft has announced that it has decided not to move forward with AI-powered history search. The company has not detailed the exact reasoning behind this move, but it has apologized to customers for the inconvenience. The move is rather interesting as it seemingly could have improved user productivity. Edge users wouldn't have to worry about typos or exact keywords, and just focus on what they were trying to locate in their browser history. Microsoft had also assured users that an on-device AI model would be leveraged for this functionality, and no data would be sent to the cloud. IT admins also had the ability to control its availability through the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy. When the feature began rolling out last year, many of our readers called it creepy, noting that they couldn't trust Microsoft to keep their data on their device. Others also questioned its usefulness, saying that it's simply a way for Microsoft to insert more AI bloat into its products. Although the Redmond tech giant had stated that it will be more mindful about surfacing Copilot features in Windows 11 apps, we later discussed how this is mostly a rebranding exercise rather than an actual axing of AI functionalities. Indeed, a Microsoft executive later emphasized how they want to reshape Windows for the agentic AI era. That said, it does seem like at least AI-powered Edge history search isn't a part of that vision.

    • Not likely, of course, that we will see routine citizenship checks as they only involve compliance with existing federal voting laws already on the books for decades. This seems a non-issue entirely. Only fools would have the government rush headlong into an AI program few can understand or predict, or even debug...
