Oh and if you see closely the hatch door (with the lights out) you will see something like: sqr(16), sqr(64), sqr (225) (I cant remember the ascii code of square, sorry) and that is 4, 8, 15 (you know)

And about this ep/lost in general, they are always doing the same. They "give" something you think is a clue and is nothing more than to take the ppl interested.

To me is just a routine watch lost. Its becomming (very?) predictable on this stuff. Because always will be something "new" or something releated with someone past.

And this will last, a lot, because the ppl likes to watch the sky and draw pictures in their minds. ;)

I'm wondering what caused the map to appear.

I think the map has been draw in the blast door, so it can only be seen when the door is shut, with that special black lights on.

Thing is, the doors closed after some kind of countdown that I assume has nothing to do with the 108minutes countdown. It was a different one, and it was a woman's voice too.

I wonder if the 108 counter actually hit 0. I suppose it hasn't, because if something terrible is suppose to happen after it hits zero, the last thing I would expect is the counter to go back to 108 again. I know this time it probably got closer to zero than the last time (when lock saw those symbols)... but I think henry typed the numbers in ..

Just hypothesising here, but you know the interference on the music I reckon that could possibly be a pilot or Dharma people notifiying that incoming food is coming. What do you guys think?

I'm sure I heard a woman counting... "three two one".. and then the blast doors shut

I still think that the food was dropped because the timer went down completely. I think that it signifies that whoever was in the hatch is no longer down there and so the others have to find someone else. They drop the food to replenish the supply for the new person going into the hatch.

If you are referring to the time a few weeks back when the timer expired, then I might agree with you. So then do you think someone new will be "crashing" to the island soon?

I have to say that yesterday?s episode was one of the best of the yea:D:D mmm I was really hoping that crazy countdown would runout and we could see what happens but oh well?

Well, we actually can't really say for certain that "Henry" did type in the code. Perhaps he knew what would happen if he didn't.

i think the food was dropped because it was....

it was the normal food drop...there's supposed to be 2 people there...its not like they could live off that pantry forever...every once in a while Dharma probably made a routine food drop....note that the lockdown occured well before the counter was running out and that the door mentions lockdown for "restocking"

honestly i think a lot of you guys are looking way too much into the food drop...it was most likely just the normal food drop they've been doing for years....

It makes sense that there is a regular drop b/c Hurley said (when he was doing inventory on the food) that there was enough to feed 1 guy for a few months. Desmond (and anyone) would have to have been re-stocked to stay there for any real length of time.

As for it occuring because of the timer (the 108 computer timer), I don't think so, as the doors shut before the counter went down. The doors are probably there to keep the button-pushers contained (and in a spot necessary to push the button) while a supply was dropped.

But it does mean that there is something *still* going on there, for that food to be dropped on purpose.

I still don't get how the countdown was so hurried. It said 20 minutes while Locke was on the bike, 10 minutes to lockdown after he fiddled with it, and then after Locke's flashback, it started counting down from 10 seconds.

he fiddled with a speaker wire...

you keep bringing this up yet i highly doubt fiddling with a speaker wire is what caused a malfunction....

I didn't say fiddling with the speaker wire did it so don't put words in my mouth. But it did cause the speaker to screech and then, not because he fiddled with it, it said 10 minutes to lockdown.

I wonder if its the "blocked way"... you know, where they poured the concrete so you can't get through. The only way to tell is if you could see the layout of the swan hatch and correspond to the map.

this is also what i'm thinking....maybe the X's at the end of the "halls" are where the concrete was poured to prevent people from getting to the "?"

did anyone see the text at the top right? (of the translation) it says "suspected shutdown date" 10.28.84?

also, i think the big thing in the middle is a central base of some kind, to do the actual experements ?? also, could it be that the "others" we see now are also a part of the experement?

this thread blew up over night huh.. i watched the american preview, and WOW.. so much more then the canadian one.. i like how they are doing this tho.

so hurley is going to fall off a cliff? and this "Dave" guy isn't Henry Gale inside the hatch.. it's this guy some how linked to Hurley. To be honest, Hurley hasn't been in a lot of the new episodes.. he was more of a season 1 character.. but it doesn't say anyone dies.. so i guess he lives

my harddrive is full of lost stuff and just so happen to have a map of the hatch :rolleyes:

I got this when they first played out episode 2.01 so its quite old...and probably not been updated since then so....maybe someone on here can create a map... :shifty:

this thread erupted after the episode last night aired and also 3 or 4 of lost fansites actually went down due to mass traffic the love of lost is still there :p

      Now 8GB of ram looks even worse in the Neo. I'm so happy I purchased 128GB of DDR 4 when I did.... paid $174. Upgraded my parents laptop to 32GB around the same time for $48. Luckily I have a TON of spare laptops. So i'm good on laptops for a while. I also have a lot of desktops too that I could use if i had to. Lets just hope nothing happens to my main 4 monitor couch workstation.

      This is a none story - these low volume Chinese models will always get new experimental features first because Apple and Samsung can't produce them in huge volume to meet demand.
