I'm not sure if this has been posted or not, but did anyone notice that if you click on the October 28,2003 date under Alvar Hanso's photo, it takes you to this other part that says that Alvar hasn't been seen since 2002. Seems there are a number of easter eggs in this site.

also, you can use the code 'heir apparent' on Dr Thomas Mittelwerk's page to get another hidden part.

Didn't the orientation video mention something about a ferry ?

"At the end of your 8 hour shift, proceed to the Pola Ferry (or possibly Apollo Ferry or something like that) which will take you back to your barracks to prepare for your next shift."

And interestingly both Orientation videos were made the same year, but in this one he has a real arm and in the Swan one he has a prostetic arm.

Maybe the Others were themselves losties, who have discovered the island. Pushed the button etc until they realised it was just an experiment. Could explain why they can move without leaving tracks

That logic is bizarre. Why would it explain in any way whatsoever the reason for their silent movement. You're argument is enthememic.

if they didn't look alike 2 persons wouldn't think it was him =P

Yeah - but watch the episode and look at the picture, they clearly aren't the same.

Hmm, nevermind, it isn't, but I know I've seen him somewhere before

i knew about that guy.. he was in both episodes.. i just figured everyone caught that.

but did anyone catch the whole reason why BOOM was sent up into the plane, and how the plane was angeled towards the question mark. Boom was ment to find the ? and the hatch, thats what locke seen in his dream... when the plane was going down.

This all ties in together, pretty deep writting.

Yea I noticed that during the show. The guy admitted he was a fraud. What does this tell us about him and Claire?

Anyone know morse code? If you go to the Executive Bios page of the Hanso Foundation website, there's a link under Hanso's picture. Click it and it'll take you to another mystery page, similar to the letter. Click appropriately and Persaphone will send you message stating that Madrid was the last recorded public appearance of Alvar Hanso. Click the map once more and listen to the message. Let the flash run then a green dot in the center beeps. Sounds like morse code...

i wonder if the timestamp printouts will have micheal's conversation with walt.

i think it's when the codes are entered, it tells if the code was actually entered and what time it was entered at.

Hmm, I've come up with new stuff regarding the printouts. It does indeed increment by 1 hour and 48 minutes each time. At least the first three digits before the colon are hours since analyzing the prinout suggests that it does indeed rollover (goes from 118:53 to 122:29 a couple lines down for example). Then the real question is what is the 41602 in front of them? Is that still hours? If so, that means it's been going on for 4749 years :o

Another interesting I noticed is that in the first Dharma video it said that failure to push the button will result in an 'incident', now why would one of the others try and convince the Locke to NOT push the button if there really was going to be an 'incident' that could harm the others and the losties.

Nooo... see then in the orientation video for the Pearl they reveal that it is in fact useless. Its just to test their faith I think.. as Henry said, he was one of the good ones, and since he had been so willing to do this, they felt he should come and join their ranks.

Is it just me or was that Video in "?" edited?

Yeah, certainly did look edited.

So, the issue of Claires pyshic. I don't have the video with me.. but he basically said that he made all this stuff up. That he researchers his people first....could it be that hes been in contact with Dharma or whoever it was that is trying to get all these people on the plane?

That logic is bizarre. Why would it explain in any way whatsoever the reason for their silent movement. You're argument is enthememic.

Yeah - but watch the episode and look at the picture, they clearly aren't the same.

Ok, first off the word is 'Enthymematic'

And second, I think its pretty much common sense how a long time spent on the island would lead to them being able to travel without being detected.

If they've been there long enough they have gotten to know the jungle, the landmarks, how to tread etc.

And lastly its just a hunch I posted that could entail discussion, calm down

    • A coalition of publishers sued OpenAI and Microsoft over scraping content without consent by Hamid Ganji Image via Depositphotos.com AI companies often rely on readily available internet content to train their chatbots and provide users with instant answers. This method of AI training is fast and relatively inexpensive, but using a website’s content without permission or compensation is not something publishers like to see, and this is exactly why Microsoft and OpenAI are now being sued. As reported by Bloomberg, a group of publishers that collectively own nearly 400 newspapers has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft. The coalition argues that the two companies scraped their content to build AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Copilot without paying any compensation. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, argues that while AI products have generated billions of dollars in market value using publishers’ work, none of that value has been shared with the publishers. The plaintiffs are seeking statutory damages and injunctive relief for alleged copyright infringement and violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. “Defendants systematically and secretly crawled the Publishers’ websites—including content behind paywalls and other access restrictions—and copied the Publishers’ articles, stories, and other original works onto their own servers without authorization,” the complaint states. The publishers also described the AI boom as a “death knell for local journalism” if AI companies that scrape content for free are not held accountable. Former New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin and his law firm, Platkin LLP, are representing the publishers. “Our models empower innovation, are trained on publicly available data, and are grounded in fair use,” OpenAI spokesperson Drew Pusateri told Bloomberg. This is not the first lawsuit involving the unauthorized use of publishers’ content by AI firms, but it is one of the largest coalitions ever formed against the free use of content by AI chatbots. In 2024, OpenAI and Microsoft also faced a similar lawsuit from eight newspapers that claimed AI products were benefiting from their content without permission.
