"Lost" TV Show - Currently Season 2 (US aired)

No. According to tv.com this series ends in 2 episodes. And at least I havent read a renew of contract or something about this series.

So, I ask again, why are you (or the other guy) so sure that would be a 3rd season?

Well, it is one of ABC's highest rated show, so they'd have to be crazy to get rid of it. We'll find out tomorrow for sure when they announce the fall lineup.

It was confirmed (on the podcast, I think) that there would be. I think there's something like 6 seasons planned.

If the pilot was from Dharma, why was he killed? Maybe that's what the 'security system' does - it secures Dharma against the losties knowing stuff.

uhhhh....no....

i think you have season finale confused with series finale....a series finale airs at the end of a show....in 2 weeks we will be watching the season finale of Lost...and it will be back next year (the producers want Oct. so they can have less breaks but its up to ABC)

edit: just went to TV.com...didn't see anything that stated series finale...

Lost isn't over...anyone who thinks it is does not understand how TV works at all and apparently hasn't been keeping up with Lost at all....

1. Lost is insanely high rated

2. the producers/writers/etc... have multiple seasons planned

3. they've already stated that while the finale will answer a lot of questions it will pose some new ones...

4. its not going anywhere

I think its interesting that the others are so well armed (they have guns, and from the raft, also hand grenades). I wonder why Dharma might arm them so well? I can't think of many cases on an island where you'd need grenades. Guns, possibly for hunting. Grenades? No way.

I dont think it was a gernade, it looked more like a molotov coctail. Glass container, filled with a flammable substance like gasoline, and lit then tossed.

I have heard somewhere that they are going to do three seasons in all, and then wrap it all up in a movie.

I quite like this idea :)

Back to LOST and what's happening.

I believe Henry doesn't lie to Locke. I really do believe that Henry didn't push the button.

We tend to call it a series rather than a season in the UK.

It is possible that the electromagnetic stuff at the swan station is what pulled the plane to the island. The station could be activated remotely to turn the magnate on. We have already seen the observation hatch and the tube could go to a master control hatch. So the swan station could be controlled from the master control center to pull the plane to the island. After all, the lockdown for the food drop should be controlled from somewhere.

ok, that episode 22 torrent is fake.

Would you really want to download something that wasn't in HD anyway? I doubt a HD broadcaster is going to play a leaked show for us all.

I actually hope they don't get rid of the flashbacks.

Mmm... I think they just need to use them less.. I mean some times it feels like theres only 10 minutes devoted to whats actually going on, while the rest is just flashbacks.

Good news!

Lost will air without loads of repeats next season!

"Lost will air without repeats next year, first in a 7-week block. Then Day Break will run for a number of weeks, with Lost coming back to complete its run." Source : http://www.tvsquad.com/2006/05/16/the-upfronts-abc/#comments

Most people don't care about HD. You're on your own. Why are there so many people downloading it, because they don't car about a little bit more detail. So yeah people would like to download something that isn't HD.

ok, sorry if this is old news, but I just realised... From one of the phone options

You?ve reached the office of Dr. Thomas Vernon Mittelwerk, Sr. VP, COO, and Chief Technologist of the Hanso Foundation. I will be unreachable for the next three weeks. However, for those employees Paik-Heavey Industries, and Widmore Corp. engaged in active projects, I will be continuously updating the confidential information line. Please refer to your project manual for hotline access instructions. Thank You and Namaste.

Widmore Corp. is set to become quite important in the next 2 episodes. But notice the other company? "Paik-Heavey", Sun's father, Jin's father in law was Mr. Paik...

Like a said, sorry if it's old, I only just made the connection and thought I'd share

It's also clear mittelwerk is a fake doctor. If you enter "heir apparent" on his page (as has been mentioned before), you get access to some bill thing. Then the notes say a doctor never studied at calltech. Check "dr" mittelwerk's bio, and it says he studied at calltech. I don't think the connection has been mentioned in this thread yet. My apologies if it has.

    • Simple answer is yes, you will still get the Windows updates and as long as browser is up to date, you will be good. Only thing secure boot does is protect you against boot level threats and make it harder to install other OS's. I've been looking into this pretty thoroughly lately myself as wifes computer has secure boot disabled plus my other, older computers that run Linux, don't have secure boot enabled. Have seen all kinds of questions about this on the Linux Mint and MX Linux forums. Just don't suddenly enable secure boot now.
