i just want to pointing out some interesting series of digits.

edit: the first picture(yellow-ish paper) sort of makes sense but the second one(white paper) i just made is really confusing.

in the 2nd picture(whiter paper) numbers connected by red lines are +2, numbers connected by green lines are +1. umm weird.

Yeah, seems the way they printed it out the numbers line up and it does increase by 108 minutes each time. It's just whether or not the first 5 or so digits are the date is what is really confusing.

Also, I did a look at the end again and turns out it wasn't Lenny. They looked similar at first though.

Wanna know what really sucks? It's 4:10 AM where I am...I've waited...and ABC.com finally has the finale listed on their main page! Unfortunately when you go into that slick Flash player thing, I can scroll to the episode but there's no play button yet. ARRRGH.

this season finale was awesome. loved it.

so guys when season 3 is coming?

i can't wait

It will properly be September again, dunno what dates. Just want some information and a preview ;)

Also will this thread now be Season 3, or does someone need to make a thread of season 3 now?

SciFi Wire has some info on season 3

Producers of ABC's hit series Lost, which aired its surprising second-season finale on May 24, told SCI FI Wire that it sets up the upcoming third season, which will focus more on romance?and on the mysterious Others. "The Others are an important part of season three, and there's a lot of mysteries and a lot of questions about the Others that the audience is going to be curious about going into season three," said executive producer Carlton Cuse in an interview. "And those are the things we're going to explore."

Cuse added: "There will definitely be some new characters on the show next year. ... Obviously, Michael Emerson, who plays Henry Gale, he's someone who's going to be very prominent in the show next year." Fans were also introduced to a new character who promises to figure in next season's storylines: Penelope Widmore, played by Sonya Walger.

In the finale, viewers find out where Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) was, what happens when the button doesn't get pushed, why the plane crashed and the fate of Michael (Harold Perrineau) and Walt (Malcolm David Kelley). At the end, Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly) and Sawyer (Josh Holloway) are prisoners of the Others. And Claire (Emilie de Ravin) gives Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) a kiss.

"I'm excited about love in season three," said executive producer Bryan Burk, adding: "Don't forget now the people have been on the island for 60-plus days. They're now obviously more familiar with each other. ... The concept of love [is there], and ... it weaves its way through all of our characters. It's going to be much more prevalent in season three."

Now that Lost has finished shooting, the season-three writers met recently for a "boot camp" in Hawaii, where they broke the main story arcs for next year. "It's fun, because we're still kind of following on a macro level the same trajectory that we talked about years ago," Burk said. "The details are changing on this, and new characters that we hadn't thought about are here, ... but what's fun is kind of the whole big journey is still kind of where we had originally talked about it. And it feels as I had always said from day one, when I was doing interviews in season one, I kept saying that the show doesn't really start kicking in for me until seasons two and three. ... Somebody smarter than me recently said in a TV Guide letter, ... 'If you think you're still watching a show about people who crashed on an island, you're watching another show.' There's a lot going on, and as we move forward, ... we're getting deeper into the center of the onion."

Ok, these are some of the questions I've come up with from the finale:

1. Desmond's wife - I guess she used her money to pay some people to look for electromagnetic anomalies to try to find Desmond?

2. Locke, Ecko, Desmond in the hatch - It seems like Desmond's key caused quite a disturbance based on the hatch door flying across the island, but it seems like things would be more interesting with these people still alive.

3. Others - Who the hell are these people? Why is Henry (or whatever his name is) convinced that no one would be able to find this place? Why do you need to follow a special bearing to leave? What do they want with Kate, Sawyer, and Jack?

4. Michael, Walt - I wonder if they will come back? It seems like they would, unless they were written off the show after two seasons?

5. Kate, Sawyer, Jack - They all had quite grim looks on their faces at the end of the episode, makes me wonder if we're going to see them again?

6. Sayid, Sun, Jin - Seems like Sayid is going to want to go after Kate, Sawyer, and Jack, especially after he talks to Hurley.

What do you guys think?

The question really is, how does Desmond's wife know to look for electromagnetic anomalies?

Do the hieroglyphics mean anything when the system failure occurred?

And why do I have this sick feeling that Michael and Walt won't return anymore?

I was listing to Sledgeweb's Lost Podcast earlier today and it got me thinking about a few things. Before I do that, I just want to anyone who is living spoiler free and hasn't seen the last 5 or so episodes, not to read any further.

  • First off, I want to go back to One of them and discuss the egyptian hieroglyphics that we saw at the end of the episode. Sledge was stating that it didn't make sense to him, the hieroglyphics and I was thinking that maybe we have it all wrong. Maybe it isn't egyptian hieroglyphics at all, but an odd coincidence. Maybe these characters have something specific to with Dharma and we haven't learned the true meaning of them yet. I mean, after all, "die" or "cause to die" doesn't really make sense at all and I see why Sledge says it would a lot of good writing on the writers part to make it tie in with the rest of the show. Just something I thought I'd throw out there.

    • The only reason I want to know where you from is because if you are not from the U.K, then why should you care what we in the U.K do or don't do? Racist I am not, I am fed up with the amount coming over here and feel they can come over here and think we need to support them. Do you know how much it costs this country to support these people coming over here? Even when we give them a place to live it is not good enough. We had a barge that was being used to house immigrants, oh but that was not good enough. A mate said to me at the time, when he was homeless, he would have been happy to live on the barge, instead of ending up sleeping on a bench on the beach. I am not scared to say what my family heritage is, unlike you who is scared to say where they are from or where they live. Father side U.S, mother side Wales, still have family living in the U.S. A mate who sadly died a few years ago, had a load of people from different races recording in his studio, I got on with all of them. Skin colour don't bother me, where they are from don't bother me. Religion don't bother me as long as they don't push it onto me and it is not crazy stuff. I am not religious. But if you are not living in the U.K, then why should you care if we are in the E.U or not? This the problem, too many people poking their noses into where it don't belong. But you believe what you believe, if you think I am racist, then be it, I really do not care. Just grow a pair
    • If he hasn't been able to figure that out, then why is he obsessed with tariffs? Because that's one of the most prominent tools to level the playing field when you have high cost of labor.
    • Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5102558, KB5095615 Setup and Recovery updates by Sayan Sen This past week Microsoft released the newest preview update (C-release) under KB5095093. Alongside those, Microsoft also released new dynamic updates. For those who may not know, dynamic updates bring improvements to the Windows Recovery process in the form of Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) updates, which are also called Safe OS updates. The dynamic updates also affect the Setup file binaries in the form of Setup updates. These Dynamic Update packages are meant to be applied to existing Windows images prior to their deployment. Dynamic Updates also help preserve Language Pack (LP) and Features on Demand (FODs) content during the upgrade process. VBScript, for example, is currently an FOD on Windows 11 24H2. This time both recovery and setup updates were released for Windows 11. The company writes: "KB5095186: Safe OS Dynamic Update for Windows 11, version 26H1: June 23, 2026 This update makes improvements to the Windows recovery environment (WinRE). After installing this update, the WinRE version installed on the device should be 10.0.28000.2335. KB5102558: Setup Dynamic Update for Windows 11, versions 24H2 and 25H2: June 23, 2026 This update makes improvements to Windows setup binaries or any files that setup uses for feature updates in Windows 11, version 24H2 and Windows 11, version 25H2. KB5095615: Safe OS Dynamic Update for Windows 11, versions 24H2 and 25H2: June 23, 2026 This update makes improvements to the Windows recovery environment (WinRE). After installing this update, the WinRE version installed on the device should be 10.0.26100.8737." Microsoft notes that both the Recovery and Setup updates will be downloaded and installed automatically via the Windows Update channel.
    • The high cost of labor and operating within the US. Donald hasn't been able to figure that out--pathetic.
